Seraph on Korean v. NA training: "NA solo queue is garbage and it helps 0% for improving my skills." - Duration: 3:15.

That's why I just want to keep staying in NA.

I love NA culture and I love the whole environment, and I also--I love my teammates and everyone's

cool.

I mean, obviously, Korea the solo quality is really high.

So I think that's the right--that's the correct decision.

Just keep playing solo queue and play a lot of scrims.

But in NA, it's different.

Like, honestly NA solo queue is garbage and it doesn't--it helps like 0% for improving

my skills.

So probably just keep getting good--my mentality, with the teammates--I think that's more good.

So first time, I didn't understand everyone just chill and hang out.

I think he's really smart.

And also, he has a lot of experience in a high ranked team like TSM and Immortals, so

he knows how to win the game.

As a mentality, as a strategy, he's a really good coach.

So I think it's really helpful for us.

As a team, I think all individual players are really good.

Especially I think Hakuho--he is resident and he is a good teammate and he has good

skills.

Personally I wanted him to stay in NA, the League scene, because I love him casting.

So when I watched OGN, I always watched it in English because I like him casting with

DOA.

It's so sad but I think he thinks Overwatch is going to be way bigger than League.

That's why I think he's moving to Overwatch.

Overwatch is a good game too but, as me, I like League more.

Just, when I came into NA for the first time, there was nothing... like, I was the only

one Korean.

And now it's like over half--not over half, but over like 30%--of players are Korean.

So Riot and the environment is prepared for Koreans too.

I think it's really improved for the other guys.

Some things are good and some things are bad.

The good thing is there are more good players.

So compared to the past, I can improve more in scrims because obviously they're super

good.

Bad thing is, good players are here so it's going to be more tough.

That's all, I think.

Dramatorrent

Would you like to order?

(Episode 27)

We will have two cups of this.

Okay. I see.

Here are your beverages.

This is so pretty.

It's delicious.

Thank you. Please enjoy.

Yes, Seong Joon?

Jeong Eun. It's me.

I have something to tell you.

What? Are you certain Hyun Woo is back?

Yes, I am.

Jeong Eun, I thought about him a lot. Something's fishy about him.

I can't figure out who and what kind of a person he is.

He certainly said he will return to New York.

He even invested in my company before leaving.

He came back this morning.

What's the reason behind his return?

Jeong Eun.

He didn't get in touch with you at all?

No, he didn't.

Something's off about him. He seems like he's playing us.

Seong Joon. Calm down.

Let me look into it. I'm sure there was a reason for it.

I will find out.

Hyun Woo.

Hyun Woo.

Hyun Woo!

Hyun Woo!

Mr. Lee.

Who are you? Tell me who you are.

You took your anger out on the driver...

and that poor man hung himself.

One of his sons...

was hit by a dump truck and torn apart.

Mr. Lee.

Are you...

the driver's son?

"As you sow, so shall you reap."

You thought you won't face the consequences?

Do you think...

karma doesn't apply to you?

Does this mean...

you were behind Guem Ja's arrest and kicked out Mi Ja?

Mr. Lee. Please forgive me this once.

I wasn't doing so well at that time.

Guem Ja said she would pay me. That was the only time.

Please, I beg of you, Mr. Lee.

Please forgive me this once.

How can I forgive you?

The incident was...

already settled as drunk-driving of an alcoholic driver.

I just came...

to tell you that I was very disappointed.

After 23 years, I wanted...

to tell the neighbors that in many ways, I was disappointed.

I came back to tell you that.

Mr. Lee.

May you spend...

the rest of your life well.

Mr. Lee.

Ms. Yoon Mal Ja.

Please accompany us to the station.

Get up.

What are you doing?

- What's going on? - Ms. Yoon Mal Ja.

You're charged with illegal practice,

issuance of false diagnoses,

unlawful rebate, and illegal sale of medication.

You need to come to the station with us.

You have the right to remain silent and to consult an attorney.

Anything you say may be used against you in a court of law.

Let's go.

No. It's not me.

No. It's not me.

- I didn't do it. - Get in.

- No! - Let's go.

My goodness. What happened to Doctor Yoon?

I am not sure. I wonder what it's about.

- What did she do wrong? - Exactly.

- What's happening? - What a mess.

(Han Seong Sik's candidacy is confirmed.)

How do you feel as you have officially entered into politics?

I was too excited to get any sleep.

I'm honored to contribute...

in making the world a better place.

Please say a few words before we wrap up.

First of all,

I would like to show my gratitude to...

the members of my party who trust in me.

From now on,

my dear and respectful citizens,

I leave it to you.

I am the candidate of a dignity and...

a noble standard which you deserve to have.

I can assure you, I am the only reliable candidate.

All you need to do is enjoy the fruit of my labor.

I, Han Seong Sik, will do all the work

Hello. I am Han Seong Sik.

Hi.

Did you announce your candidacy?

You're working hard in this cold weather.

I am Han Seong Sik who will save Korean politics.

Hello, Ma'am.

I am the handsome lawyer, Han Seong Sik.

The carrots look very fresh.

Hello.

I am Han Seong Sik from Minjeong Party.

Who is that?

- Isn't it my dear Seong Sik? - I am Han Seong Sik who...

- will save Korean politics. - Why is he on TV?

That is him.

Why is he saying hello to people?

He went to the market.

Why did he go?

Did his mother want him to go grocery shopping?

I don't think so.

Hey. Why would you eat that without cleaning it first?

Is your grandson running for...

a seat in the National Assembly?

What?

A seat in the National Assembly?

Jeong Ae. Hyung Seop.

Did Seong Sik mention that he was running for office?

No one's here.

Where did everyone go?

I always forget at least something when I go grocery shopping.

Last time,

I forgot to buy this spring onion.

I'm the same, Mother.

I forgot to buy spinach I was going to cook for the children.

I think I should buy some more dried laver and shrimp sauce.

I will buy some snacks...

and oatmeal for the children.

Are you sure?

Sorry?

I mean, I think that's a good idea. Buy more. I will, too.

Okay, Mother.

I'm so glad that I can come shopping with you often like this.

Same here.

How much is it?

It's 80 dollars.

Is it 80 dollars?

Wait a second.

Goodness. No way.

- What's wrong, Mother? - I forgot my wallet today.

Seriously.

This is unbelievable.

I am sorry. Please wait a moment.

It's not in here.

Hee Sook, I need you...

to pay for mine today.

Mother, this isn't good.

What is it?

I forgot to bring my wallet...

again today.

Dear me.

What?

I apologize, Mother.

What's gotten into you? You're not as old as I am.

I can't believe you forget your wallet so many times.

Mother, actually, I used this same bag...

the other day I came here with you,

and I forgot to put my wallet in here in the first place.

I should've remembered to bring it today.

- I'm so sorry. - Goodness.

Mother, Father is here.

Father, we are here!

Hee Sook.

Why are you here? I called Seong Sik, not you.

Mother, I called Father.

- I'm sorry. - Why did you do that?

Come on. You know Seong Sik is too busy to come here.

This is ridiculous.

It's 160 dollars in total.

I will pay it with this.

This is total nonsense. Why did you pay for all?

How could I tell Hee Sook to pay hers herself?

This isn't her first time making me pay for her.

It doesn't really matter.

How could a parent neglect her in such situation?

And you know she forgot her wallet today.

I'm saying she does this all the time.

Don't be too mean to her. She's your daughter-in-law.

This is ridiculous.

- I can't stand this anymore! - You two are back.

- Mom, you're here. - Mother, Hee Sook ripped me off...

again at the market again today.

Stop it.

I told you Hee Sook is too clever for you to deal with.

- Mother... - Please be quiet. By the way,

is Seong Sik really going to run for the National Assembly this year?

What do you mean?

I just saw it...

on television earlier, so I thought you two already are aware of this.

Seong Sik runs for the National Assembly by-elections.

Sorry? By-elections?

Yes, Dad. I also saw it on television.

What's gotten into him?

Politics isn't something that anyone can do.

Dad, don't worry too much.

I'll visit his office right away and talk to him.

It might ruin our whole family.

Tell him to give up now.

I will. I'll call you later.

Seriously.

What's wrong with him?

(Han Seong Sik, Minjeong Party's official candidate)

Excuse me.

Hello.

What will you do?

I need you to resolve it.

Seong Hoon, did you talk to Seong Sik?

Hello. I told you we'd meet again.

How dare you come here?

- Dad. - Get up already.

- What do you think you're doing? - Dad.

Stay out of this.

- Get out of here. - Goodness.

Dad.

Don't ever come back again.

If you come here again, I'll call the police.

Sure. Go ahead.

I can't believe you just said that.

Get lost now.

I will leave now,

but I'm coming back.

I'll make sure to come back soon. Wait for me.

What a wench.

Dad.

Dad,

you need to tell me so that I can help you.

I'm afraid to tell you...

that I don't want anything that breaks Mom's heart to happen again.

If she's Seong Joon's biological mother,

please just give her what she wants and let her walk away...

for Mom's sake.

Please don't just keep sighing.

Mom shouldn't find this out.

It took 10 years for her to accept Seong Joon as her son.

Seong Joon came to us when he was seven,

and she first hugged him when he turned 17.

- This will perturb her again. - Seong Hoon.

Yes, Dad.

Can you just help me...

without asking anything?

Hyun Woo!

Why are you here?

When did you come back? Will you stay here, then?

You didn't come back because you forgot something, right?

You'll stay here forever, won't you?

I'm so glad you are back.

I also have good news.

My dad is back. He said he'll live in Korea.

I returned to take care of a few things.

I will leave again soon. Please go.

Hyun Woo.

- What's the matter? - I need you to leave now.

Nothing will change even if I came back permanently.

Now leave.

Hold on.

- Did something happen to you? - Nothing happened.

We're not together anymore.

You also said we are finished...

and you'll blame me for the rest of your life.

Do as you said.

Don't try to find me.

Hyun Woo.

Hello, Mr. Lee. How are you?

- Hello. - Why don't you go inside?

Goodbye.

Get out. Leave already.

That's enough, Mr. Kim.

Are you joking with me? Do you think anyone can be a writer?

- I'm sorry. - Dong Hui,

sorry doesn't cut it.

Do you know we had to do extra work while you were away?

I made coffee for others and even had to clean the office.

That's enough, everyone. She's here after all.

It's good you mentioned it. Why are you back?

We've already suffered enough because of you.

- Well... - What's going on here?

Good morning, Director Bang.

What brings you here, Dong Hui?

Who is she?

Let me introduce her to you.

You know Writer Choi Jin Kyung, right?

Pardon?

She wrote a miniseries called,

"Icarus's Wings: the Golden Times".

Hello. I'm Choi Jin Kyung.

Where is Director Han? We have to sign a contract today.

Director Han. Please say hello. This is Writer Choi Jin Kyung.

Hello, Director Han. I've heard a lot about you.

I'm sorry,

but I was aware that I was to write the scripts on my own.

It's about the same as writing the scripts on your own.

Ms. Oh Dong Hui wrote the synopsis.

We scouted you for a writer...

who will write even better scripts.

I hope you wouldn't be offended.

I never agreed to sell my synopsis.

Are you telling me that you will write the scripts all on your own?

Director Bang.

Then, what is your plan?

Writer Choi, please help us.

Producer Park insists on directing this drama.

I can't depend on Ms. Oh Dong Hui since she's an inexperienced writer.

We have no other way around it.

So do you mean that I have to co-write...

with a rookie like her?

I also do not wish to co-write my drama with another writer.

What?

How old are you? How many dramas have you written?

Director Bang. How can you handle business like this?

This is also an insult to Writer Choi, too.

Fine. Then, I will make a suggestion to both of you.

Writer Choi, if you help us out this time,

we will sign you for the next drama.

And for you, Ms. Oh Dong Hui.

Since you won't sell your synopsis,

I'll treat you like a writer, then.

However, it will only air after you have proved yourself as a writer.

What do you mean?

We will go ahead with her synopsis,

but both of you will write the scripts based on the synopsis.

We will go with the scripts that seem to be written better.

How can that be possible?

Director Bang. Is this how you handle...

I am aware that I may be asking a bit much from you.

However, don't worry since a rookie writer like her...

can't defeat you.

Now the decision remains solely on your hands.

Ms. Oh Dong Hui.

This is a good way for you to squash any rumor that claims...

you became a writer by someone's help, not by your own merit.

What do you think? Are you not confident?

If you are not, then stay out of it.

Why did you willingly accept her suggestion?

If not?

She might think I'm running away because I'm scared.

You should have protected your synopsis.

How can you compete with another writer with a synopsis you wrote?

If I don't, she won't acknowledge me as a writer.

If I say I will write the scripts on my own,

do you think she would approve?

You're right, but...

This is just too sad.

I can't do anything about it even if it is.

All I can do is win.

Dong Hui.

Please leave now. I'm going to start right away.

Do you think this is some sort of a game or a trick?

How can two writers compete with each other?

Why? Did I hurt your feelings?

Drama is like a living creature.

It's hard enough for one writer to come up with the scripts.

How can they alternate episodes and write?

Who said they will alternate episodes and write?

Goodness. You are confident.

What do you mean?

Writer Choi has an experience of 10 years in scriptwriting.

Do you think Dong Hui can write better than...

Writer Choi even if it's just one episode?

Bang Mi Joo!

Whether Writer Choi wins or she does,

it won't hurt our team in any way since we will be airing...

the episodes of better written scripts.

Isn't that enough?

Don't worry too much.

You said she is a good writer.

Then, she will win.

Anyway, you usually turn off your phone when you go home.

I'm grateful that you're calling me now.

Well, then. Good night. Bye now.

Moong Chi, be quiet. Don't you know I'm writing now?

This is very important to me. I have to win.

Be quiet!

Are you going somewhere?

Yes. I have to meet someone.

Who are you meeting at this late hour?

I'm meeting a coworker.

I'll be back.

Come home early.

Okay.

How's Father?

I saw him at home before I left.

What's going on?

Why do I have to keep this a secret from him?

Seong Joon.

I'm sorry to bring this to you.

I think Father is in trouble.

What kind of trouble?

He won't tell me what it is.

You know the woman with Father you saw on the street the other day?

Let go of me. I can't help you anymore.

Go. Leave now.

You must be Seong Joon.

Don't you know who I am?

I remember her. What about it?

We shouldn't...

mention at home that we met her, okay?

What do you mean?

I just called you just to make sure you won't make any mistake.

We didn't see anything.

Let's be careful so that we won't make any mistake at home.

Why?

Who is she?

I think she is an old coworker of Father.

Seong Hoon.

I am not clueless.

One day,

when Mother brought up about marriage,

she asked me if I looked for my biological mother.

Seong Joon.

By any chance,

is she my biological mother?

I don't know, but...

Seong Hoon.

You are worried about Mother, right?

You are worried she might be hurt again.

- Seong Joon. - If you know her phone number,

please let me have it.

Seong Joon.

Let me have her phone number.

Are you doing your best?

Yes.

I am doing my best.

How about you, Ah In?

I am almost done.

Excellent. After we finish all of it,

I will give you a ride to your school and preschool.

I am going to take the bus.

Hey.

Han Ji Hoon.

What did I tell you?

Once a son, always a son!

Did you forget that?

You might be better off just taking the ride when I tell you nicely.

Goodness.

It is quite comfortable since she took all the children with her.

I have a plenty of time in the morning.

Just because you took them away from me,

doesn't mean they are yours.

Do your best, Kang Hee Sook.

Fulfill your wish.

It's never quiet because of Hee Sook and her husband.

Besides,

you, Han Seong Sik. You are going to be a politician?

You are running for a seat in the National Assembly?

You're going to put your life on the line for the citizens?

That is enough to make a cat laugh.

You were chasing after pretty girls...

while using the protest as an excuse.

Who are you trying to kid?

- You can't. - Grandmother.

Do you think anyone can be a politician?

I've witnessed many people...

who destroyed their families because they got into politics.

Grandmother, that's a very negative opinion of your grandson.

It's not a negative opinion of you.

I'm basing this on my experience and the statistics.

Aren't you going to proud of me if I become a congressman?

I'll be so proud and happy,

but you might ruin your life over that.

- Just don't do it. - Dad!

I agree with your dad and grandmother.

I don't really know it well,

but I know it costs a lot of money to become a politician.

Mom!

Are you stopping me because of money?

Are you worried that I might ask you for money?

- Hey. - Stay quiet, Seong Hoon!

You've used up all our family's money.

That's why Mom and Dad are stopping me from...

entering the election! They think I might ask them for money.

- What did you say? - Goodness. That fool.

Just stick to your job as a lawyer.

What's the matter with you?

A man should be ambitious and dream big.

Why should I settle for running my own business?

- What? - Being a lawyer is just a business.

I want to go into the bigger world, Mom, Dad, and Grandmother!

My goodness. You've gone totally insane.

Get up. You and I should talk.

What are you doing?

- Get up, you brat. - Gosh. Mom! Dad!

Grandmother! Help me!

- Let me go. What are you doing? - It's never peaceful in this house.

- Stop it! Let me go! - My goodness, you punk.

What's wrong with you?

Didn't I warn you?

I told you to be careful with Minjeong Party and Seonghan Group,

but you've joined that party. Now you want to run for the election.

Who's backing you up?

- Who's sponsoring you? - Don't you know that?

Mr. Kim Young Tae is backing me up,

and Seonghan Group is sponsoring me. What are you going to do?

Don't you worry. I won't ask our family even for a penny.

Whether you get help from our family or not isn't the issue here.

You're going to be in big trouble!

If something happens during the election period,

you will totally lose your social standing in this society.

You might lose your license, let alone losing all the TV shows.

The way I see it, your life is in bigger trouble.

Are you going to keep selling fried chickens...

until you become an old man?

When you and Hye Joo become an old couple,

your children might look down on you saying you're old and smelly.

- What did you say? - Just stay quiet.

If you do,

I might hire you as my spokesperson later.

- Seong Sik. - Let go of me.

Let me go. My goodness.

Seong Sik.

Seong Sik!

That brat.

Yes.

Please deliver it today, then.

Yes. All right.

Hey. What are you doing?

What? I just dropped the kids off at school.

Gosh. This is driving me crazy.

Although I'm grateful that you drop my children off...

at school and pick them up every day,

- isn't that tiring? - It's not.

I have to go out to buy collections of German songs...

and Italian songs for Chang Soo later in the afternoon.

You're a natural. You have talents for it.

Don't pick a fight with me. Just go to work.

Hee Sook.

Pay more attention to your husband.

He wants to be a politician. What are you going to do now?

There is nothing to do. He's not going to be elected anyway.

You're not interested in your husband at all, are you?

I'm not interested in a grown-up.

The ones I'm interested in...

are growing children. I have no interests for others.

It's good that I ran into you. Hye Joo.

I think you should move this chest of yours.

- Why? - Just move it.

You can't ask me to do that.

I told you this is what my parents left me.

No. Absolutely not.

Besides, we moved downstairs on the condition that...

I can place this here. Have you forgotten?

Just move it.

I bought a piano for Chang Soo, and it's coming today.

- A piano? - Yes.

Don't you want...

to raise Chang Soo to a world-class opera singer?

I speak

With trembling lips

My poor

Words of confession

My shy

And bashful face

I feel

My heart fluttering

I take courage

Hidden deep in my heart

I speak

My poor words of confession

He must be crazy.

Why does he want to meet me now?

I will see him and have it out with him today.

That jerk. He's a total jerk.

Why does he want to see me after 30 years?

You're a dead man.

You're as tall as ever.

- You're as short as ever. - How have you been?

Is that how you want to greet me in 30 years?

You're still beautiful.

You look so pretty.

Please don't wear high heels...

next time we see each other.

Next time? Gosh, I can't believe this.

Why would I see you again? Are you insane?

Listen to me carefully. The reason why I came here today...

is not because I missed you...

or because I wanted to see how you changed.

During the past 30 years,

I always wanted to know how you were.

Not me. I never wanted to know how you were.

Since the day you left for Italy,

I've never thought about you.

I've never even dreamed about you.

So from this moment on,

don't ever call me.

Don't show up in front of me. Just stay out of my sight.

I came to say this.

Let's clear up the misunderstanding.

Misunderstanding? There is no misunderstanding.

I dated you because I was young and stupid,

and we broke up. That's the end of the story.

Do you think I'm a woman who would wait...

for a guy to return for 30 years?

Don't be ridiculous.

I'm sorry.

No. You don't need to be. Why are you sorry?

It's not like you hurt me,

made me waste my time, or humiliated me.

I've been just fine. I've been happy.

My point is...

Don't you ever...

show your face again from now on.

- Ae Ri. - If you really...

loved me by any chance,

please do this for me.

I don't want to see you ever again.

Ae Ri. Ae Ri.

Ae Ri.

Ae Ri. Ae Ri!

Welcome, Director Han.

Hello.

Hello. We meet again.

He came to check the contract himself.

What are you doing? Take a seat.

I wanted to check the office atmosphere...

as well as get some things done.

Is everything going as planned, Director Han?

Yes. Thanks to you, the production is running smoothly.

We will sign a contract with a writer soon.

I see.

I have no doubt...

that you will handle things well.

If this investment turns out as a success,

I plan to expand the investment...

in Korean drama production.

Is that right?

Of course, I'd appreciate it if Director Han is involved.

This investment will be a success.

And the next project will be influenced by it.

You've made a right choice.

I think so, too.

Mr. Lee.

What's going on?

What do you mean?

Don't you know why I came here?

No, not that.

Can I ask you why you decided to come back?

I realized...

that I had unfinished businesses.

That's why I came back.

But I don't plan to stay too long.

Anyway,

I wish you good luck, Director Han.

What are you doing here?

You're home.

How did you get in here?

Did you forget?

We used to be a couple. I know your gate password.

I heard you came back, so I stopped by.

Get out. Get out now.

You should've cleaned the house as soon as you came back.

Even if you are only staying for a short while,

you should make the house liveable.

I got groceries in a hurry, so I couldn't get too many things.

I will make a few side dishes first.

Please go now. Please.

Then...

help me understand the situation.

Or else, I will never be able to accept this situation.

Tell me why you suddenly came back.

It's understandable that you suddenly came back.

Just tell me why you've changed.

Jeong Eun.

Are you stupid?

We broke up.

But you came back.

What difference does it make?

What did you say?

Does that make any difference to the fact that we split up?

It's okay for a man and a woman to split up.

Are you being all clingy because of your lingering feelings?

Did you say clingy?

Did you say lingering feelings?

What happened?

What happened to you?

Why are you doing this to me?

Please leave...

when I ask nicely.

Don't do this. You don't have to be this mean.

Without you,

a week felt like a year.

I don't know what happened to you over the week,

but you don't have to be like this to me.

Nothing happened.

I just...

don't have...

a place for you in my heart.

Hyun Woo.

So please leave.

I don't want to talk more.

How can you do this to me?

Then...

what were you doing with me all along?

Were you playing with me?

Yes.

I was playing with you.

What?

I had a little fun with you.

Do you get it now?

Where are you going at this hour?

I'm going up to the studio.

The studio?

Do you mean Dong Hui's studio? Why are you going at this hour?

Mom.

How many times did I tell you?

We are family, but you shouldn't go up to Dong Hui's room so often.

- People will talk about it. - Mom.

Dong Hui's my staff.

And she will be writing the new drama we're producing.

Stop it. I don't know those things. Just don't go up.

What's wrong with you?

Dong Hui.

Are you asleep?

Aren't you going to write?

Dong Hui?

Dong Hui.

Dong Hui.

Dong Hui, what's wrong?

Are you sick? Is something wrong?

What's wrong?

Dong Hui!

What's wrong? What is it?

I am scared.

I don't think I can do this.

No matter how much I think about it, I don't think I can do it.

I think it's better...

to ask Writer Choi to write everything.

Tell her she can write the script using my synopsis.

Give me the blanket.

I'm scared, and I need to put it over me.

I'm embarrassed, too.

Dong Hui!

She's a veteran writer with 10 years of experience,

while I'm literally a novice writer.

How on earth do you think I can beat her?

I'm no match for her in the first place.

You are very silly, Dong Hui.

You're right. I am silly.

I know I was too reckless.

So please leave me alone.

- Follow me. - Sorry?

- Where are we going? - Get up now.

What are you doing now?

- Just buckle up. - Pardon?

Please tell me where we are going.

Why? Are you afraid that I might sell you to someone?

I won't be able to sell you at a high price, anyway.

No one would buy a novice writer who cries out of fear.

What did you say?

Just tell me where we are heading.

- You'll see soon. - I have no time for this.

I have to hand in my script by this Wednesday.

Didn't you say you gave up and you'll leave it to Writer Choi?

Be quiet and have some sleep.

Dong Hui, we're here. Wake up.

Where are we?

Just get off.

Isn't this amazing?

I didn't know there's such a place in Korea.

I love this smell of books.

- These aren't mere books. - Sorry?

These are the fruits of the writers who have overcome...

dreadful fear of creation.

This is Ernest Hemingway's.

Hemingway once said this.

"There is nothing to writing."

"All you do is..."

"sit down at a typewriter and bleed."

He rewrote the last part...

of "A Farewell to Arms" 39 times.

Do you like Haruki Murakami?

Murakami...

gets up at three in the morning and writes...

until noon every day.

In the afternoon, he runs...

to maintain his good condition for writing.

How does it feel like to find out other writers' efforts?

I'm sure no writers wrote their works...

very easily without any pain or hardworking.

All the great writers have gone through the torment of creativity.

How would you think you'd be able to avoid it?

Did you think you could write it overnight?

I never said that.

I am afraid. I'm scared to death.

What about the writers of all these books?

They have felt the same.

Everyone is afraid of unknown paths.

But if you give up and stop moving forward,

you'll never be able to find out the beautiful things...

waiting for you at the end of the path.

All you need to do...

is take the first step.

Did you say you're scared? Everyone is.

You just have to overcome it.

Will I be able to do it?

Of course, you will.

What if I fail?

You just made...

what I've said so far meaningless.

I'm seriously afraid.

Then, give up everything and marry me.

Pardon?

What on earth are you talking about?

I was going to listen to you as you said a lot of great things.

- And what's this? - Then, just keep writing.

Stop whining like a baby.

You should know so many writers desperately want to write like you.

Why are you yelling at me?

I do know how to yell just like you.

This is ridiculous. You're something else!

This is great.

I was stressed out anyway. Let's get nasty, then.

You won't be able to write a line. Stop nagging at me.

Why don't you go start writing and see if it works as you want?

Do you think I'd be here shouting like this if it was that easy?

Please...

take it easy and keep writing.

I know you can do it. I got your back.

I'll be by your side so that you won't feel afraid.

Okay?

What was that?

Stop making excuses and keep writing, okay?

Come with me. I'll show you my favorite book.

"I sat and watched her sleep, a little troubled,"

"deep down in my soul,"

"but kept holy by the clear night which has never given me..."

"other than beautiful thoughts"

"Around us the stars continued..."

"heir silent march,"

"obedient as a mighty army."

"I fancied that one of these stars,"

"the most delicate, the most lustrous,"

"had missed her way..."

"and had come..."

"to lean upon my shoulder, and to sleep."

("The Stars" by Alphonse Daudet)

(FGC personnel records, Oh Dong Hui)

(Agreement for writing scenario and transfer of the copyright)

Hello?

Mom, it's me.

It's me, Gwang Jin.

You sound so surprised, and I feel bad for calling now.

Right. How are you doing?

Have you finished the herbal medicine?

I still have some.

You shouldn't trouble yourself with those things now.

Don't say that.

By the way,

I am looking at your granddaughter Dong Hui's resume.

What?

But...

she doesn't look anything like you

She looks like her father.

Did you call to say that?

Of course not. I wanted to tell you that you've brought her up well.

I see that she's a writer.

What do you mean?

She started out as an assistant at our office,

and now we are signing a contract with her as a writer.

How did it...

Director Bang brought it to me for a final confirm,

and it turned out...

it was your granddaughter.

What a coincidence!

She's very pretty, too.

I need to meet her first.

After that,

I will sign the contract with her.

Only then,

I will get to see you...

and your granddaughter for a long time.

Take care then.

Did you sleep well, Sir?

No.

Is it because of Jeong Eun?

I don't want to talk about it.

You should've slept well.

Only then, you will get to...

read the morning paper with a clear mind.

(Jinsung Daily News)

(Seonghan Group evades tax!)

Han Seong Sik will start going down today.

Goodness.

Gosh, why are there so many things...

happening to Seong Sik...

and Dad?

(Seonghan Group evades tax!)

Seonghan Group?

(Attorney H gives them advice on avoiding tax.)

(They sought to avoid the prosecution investigation.)

(They closed down their subsidiaries without proper compensation.)

(Seonghan Group, tax evasion of Seonghan Group, Attorney H)

Where are you?

Where would I be? I'm at my office.

Good thing you called.

I've been busy all morning with the women's society meeting...

and the alpine club meeting. And I'm starving now.

Please cook me some chicken.

I'll get half-and-half. I want a lot of pickled radishes.

It's not the time for fried chicken.

Should I eat there? I guess it will smell if I eat here.

I will go down now. Okay?

Hey, don't come. Don't come.

Seong Sik! Seong Sik!

Gosh.

The number you have dialed is not available at this moment.

Why aren't you picking up your phone?

Seong Hoon.

What is it?

What's going on?

Is it true that you provided illegal advice to help...

Seonghan Group evade tax?

Are you Attorney H who got a large sum of money for...

providing the illegal advice?

Did you get nominated as a reward?

Seong Sik! Seong Sik!

- Seong Sik! - Seong Hoon!

What's going on here?

What's going on?

Move!

No! No!

Cover your face.

Please say something.

- What's going on? - Please say something.

Move!

Welcome.

Seong Joon.

Here.

I can't even recognize you now.

You grew into a handsome man.

You understand me well because you are young.

Take that...

and don't bother my dad anymore.

I never bothered him.

Don't show up again.

You are so mean.

Do you know who I am?

I don't care.

What?

I just want to...

protect my dad.

You want to protect your dad.

Yes.

Seong Joon, you are so naive.

You're too nice.

Goodness. What did he do to him?

Do you really not remember anything?

What is it that you want to say?

All right.

Since you gave me money,

I will give you a crucial information.

Your dad...

is not your biological dad.

He told the orphanage that he is your biological father.

But he is not.

He's a silly man.

He fooled you completely.

I guess you needed to believe that you were related to one of them.

Only then, you would've endured your time there.

What...

What are you saying?

I'll tell you one more thing.

You shouldn't...

admire your father so much.

He's...

not so admirable after all.

(Father, I'll Take Care of You)

Dong Hui should be writing a script.

I told her to come to the office.

So why are they saying...

that I provided illegal counsel to help them evade tax?

- You are mad! - Honey!

- I am divorcing you. - Honey!

If you don't want to see Director Han lose his job,

you should think carefully.

Are you...

my mother?

Everything I believed is gone.

It's killing me.

Gallaudet Non Binary Students' View On All Gender Bathroom Signages incident - Duration: 3:08.

Britton: Hello! Silas: *peace sign*

I'm Silas and I use they/them pronouns.

I'm Britton and I use ze/zir pronouns.

Britton: Our purpose to make this vlog is to talk about something that has happened on campus

We would like to express our concerns, and feelings towards this incident.

In the basement of Fowler Hall, where the All Gender bathrooms are, and

the two signs that were previously placed there are being ripped down.

we would like to show you a picture of it. Here it is.

(pictured two single bathrooms with no signage in the basement of Fowler Hall)

Silas: The all gender signage is really new, these were posted around last year

in accordance with a DC law that says all single person bathrooms must be for all people,

and trans people have the right to use whatever bathroom fits with our identities best,

and some people are more comfortable using a single bathroom.

Britton: The installments of All Gender bathrooms are incredibly brand new, although lightly scattered on the campus,

and we feel very fortunate to have that.

It pains us to see it being ripped down, the feeling of it is rather gut-wrenching.

After witnessing such sight, we were flabbergasted, and unsure of how to interpret the meaning of it.

Or someone took it down as an act of revenge?

We are still unsure of how to conclude this, and the feeling is unexplainable.

Silas: For me, I feel frustrated. Because those bathrooms benefit so many people, not only trans people.

Some people have anxiety about public bathrooms. Cisgender people can use them too,

and they're disability-accessible. They're for everyone.

To tear those down means no one will know that's a bathroom.

They won't know they can use that. It hurts more people.

Britton: Right. When this happened, I did wonder what does this mean?

Does this mean we're not going to be safe here?

It feels as if.. Well, will we still keep making a good progress here on campus or not?

I feel worried and uncertain.

With this, we would like to close this message by sharing some recent statistical facts.

Britton: More than half of trans people (59%) reported avoided using a public restroom

because they were afraid of confrontations or other problems they might experience.

Silas: 32% of trans people tried to reduce how much they drank or ate

so they wouldn't need to use the bathroom as often. That's dangerous! It's bad for your health.

Britton: 8% of trans people reported having a urinary tract infection,

kidney infection or another related problems as a result of avoiding restrooms.

I hope this message has an impact on your thinking and seeing that we need your support

I also hope we will continue making a good progress here on campus from now and on

Thank you for your time watching our vlog

Really, we just need to pee.. Right, Silas?

Silas: Yes, please just let us use the bathroom.

Dramatorrent

(Episode 26)

- What happened? - I'm sorry.

I found it out when I was reviewing the documents.

We had two boys here that day. They were around the same age.

What?

The report says both of them didn't know their names or ages.

They both stayed here for two days.

They were sent to that orphanage.

One of them ran away from that orphanage.

May I see the picture again?

This boy...

died.

These are the pictures of the articles he left behind...

after the accident.

President. Wake up. President!

President. Please hold yourself together.

How are you, Sir?

I think...

I should visit that orphanage one more time.

I think you might be better off resting.

Wait. Sir?

You are right.

We had one more boy.

According to the record,

two boys were sent here from Seocho Police Station,

and one of them was adopted by someone.

Then where is the one...

who remained here?

(Adoption records)

He left the orphanage a day after he was sent here.

And Seocho Police Station reported...

us about his death.

After he left the orphanage,

he was heading to the downtown.

This is the road...

where he got hit by a dump truck that was running from there.

I heard that he died on the spot.

After the funeral,

his ashes had been kept at a charnel house...

in a nearby park for 10 years.

However,

the ashes were scattered in the national cemetery.

I am really sorry,

Sir.

I came too late...

for Sang Woo.

You did everything you could do.

I guess he's with my father now.

I had no idea what happened to him,

and slept and ate well.

I led a comfortable life alone.

You have never felt at ease even for a day.

I'm the only one who has been alive...

and breathing...

for the last 23 years.

My whole life is in vain.

Do you remember anything that happened before you were adopted?

Do you remember the town you lived or who your father is?

Or...

anything about your brother?

Who are you?

Why did you dig up my past?

Sang Woo.

We believe in your ability, Director Han.

I hope...

your new drama series will be a success.

Please slow down.

Hurry up.

What was that?

You've become much wilder.

Hyung Seop.

I mean...

Mr. Han, you grew old a lot.

Are you out of mind?

How dare you come here?

I came to see how my youngest son...

is doing.

Why did you come back?

Do you want to destroy my family?

Don't yell at me.

I also have the right to meet Seong Joon.

What?

What do you want from me this time?

Now that I came back,

I plan to open a store in this neighborhood.

Listen,

you don't need to run a store in this town.

Where should I go, then?

This is my hometown. I was born and raised here.

I can have many regular customers...

if I visit the old neighbors and tell them about my business.

No way.

The realtor told me that older son opened a chicken restaurant...

and the other an attorney office.

The whole town knows...

that Seong Joon has become a director of FGC Group,

one of the largest firms in the nation.

By the way, how is Ms. Moon doing?

Is she still ill-tempered?

What?

Stop it already.

I am so sorry, Mother.

I was busy taking care of the kids.

- You've always been that busy. - Let me do it.

I am sorry...

I couldn't care about you so far.

You lose your mind...

whenever the kids are in trouble.

I'm sorry. Still, I need to take care of them...

as they are young.

Fine. We're withered old people.

Don't forget to bury us after we die.

Mother.

Please don't be mad at me.

What are these?

Mother,

these are beans for Chang Soo.

This is for Ji Hoon.

This is an organic milk for the children.

And I'll make salad with these for them.

Why do you buy only organic ingredients?

They're too expensive.

Just buy cheap ones.

Don't worry.

Organic foods aren't so expensive these days.

Wait for me, Mother.

How much is it?

It's 110 dollars.

Although I don't buy much, it easily exceeds 100 dollars.

Pay for yours.

Okay.

Gosh.

No way.

- This can't be right. - What's wrong?

Mother, I forgot...

to bring my wallet.

This is bad.

Mother, I am sorry,

but can you pay for mine, please?

I pay for yours?

Yes.

I will pay you back at home.

When will you pay for these?

- Please, Mother. - I'm sorry.

Please.

I will pay.

I'll pay with this card.

Where should I put the toilet papers?

Just leave them there. I'll put them in the bathroom.

Okay.

Should I put these...

- in the kitchen? - Yes.

Mother, let me take that, too.

Are you organizing the fridge?

Yes, Mother. It's done.

Thank you. You can leave, then.

- Okay. Good night. - Goodbye.

Hee Sook, stop there.

Yes, Mother?

I'll go with you.

- Why? - I just want to help you.

It's okay, Mother. I can carry these by myself.

It's too heavy. Let me help you.

Let's go.

Okay.

Mother, you didn't have to do this for me.

You are almost...

taking care of both Ji Hoon and Chang Soo.

Of course, I should lend you a helping hand.

Goodness, your fridge is...

very neatly organized.

Hye Joo needs to learn from you.

You know she's busy.

It's done.

Thank you so much, Mother.

You're welcome.

I'll go back now.

Okay, Mother.

What is it?

Well...

It is...

See you, Mother.

Why doesn't she pay back the money?

I even went to her house.

Wait. How much was it?

She bought a lot of stuff.

It was 79 dollars.

Why on earth doesn't she...

give me the 79 dollars I paid for her?

Thank you.

Gosh. I didn't know cabbage was so delicious.

It's so good.

Ae Ri!

Ae Ri! Ae Ri!

Ae Ri!

Ae Ri!

- Are you all right, Professor? - I am fine.

What just happened?

Why is he in Korea?

Why is he at my school?

What's happening?

I am going back to New York.

I've found Sang Woo.

I took care of businesses in Seoul, too.

This can't be.

You should live with your brother.

My brother...

should live as he's been living so far.

I think it's better for him that way.

So I should...

return to my place.

Seong Joon.

Hyun Woo went back to New York today.

Were you already aware of this, Jeong Eun?

Yes.

He left today.

Did you break up with him?

Well. I think that's what happened.

- Jeong Eun. - But...

how did you find out?

I saw him at a hotel this morning.

- Why? - He invested...

a lot of money in the business I am in charge of.

Really?

You knew that he didn't go bankrupt and that he was still...

the president of Golden Street, right?

- Yes. - Jeong Eun.

He had his reasons. He didn't mean any harm by it.

He did it in order to find his brother.

So did he find his brother?

His brother's name was Sang Woo, right?

- How would you know that? - So what happened?

- Seong Joon. - Please tell me.

As I told you before,

he said he found his brother.

He looked for...

his brother for such a long time.

He had a painful experience...

and spent a difficult time doing so.

Even if he did find his brother,

he said he planned to leave without letting him know.

Why?

He said the family that adopted his brother, looked more...

like a real family than himself.

He said...

it might be better for him...

to live as he's been living so far.

That's why he left.

But why do you ask?

It's just that...

I thought that he knew me from a long time ago.

What do you mean?

He knew you from a long time ago?

It's just a thought.

Seong Joon.

Strangely,

I keep thinking about him.

I remember how he was overly nice to me and my family...

and the way he stared at me.

Out of the blue, he invested in my business.

I can't understand it. I can't connect the dots.

Anyway,

I can't seem to be at ease.

Just like I said before,

I feel like I knew him from a long time ago.

I mean...

I feel like he knows me better than I know myself.

I can't understand this.

Seong Joon.

My goodness.

Seong Joon.

Seong Hoon.

Are you trying to pick up some cash from the street?

- What? - It looked like you were.

You are funny, Seong Hoon. I wasn't trying that.

I should be the one who's trying to pick up some cash from the street.

- Are you doing the delivery? - Yes.

As you can see, I am. Go home and stop trying.

Okay. Seong Hoon.

Come on. Don't be like that. Please help me.

Let go of me. I can't help you anymore.

Go. Leave now.

Is this how you are going to play it?

My neighbors are walking by.

Isn't that Father?

- What's going on? - Please help me one more time.

- Let go of me. - My goodness.

Father.

What's going on?

Seong Joon.

Goodness. You are Seong Joon.

I can't recognize you.

You grew into a handsome man.

Who are you?

Me? Who am I?

Don't you know who I am?

What are you doing?

- What are you going to tell him? - What's up with you?

- Come here. - Goodness.

- Father. - What's wrong with you?

- Go home. - Seong Joon. Seong Joon!

Please sleep on it and make the right choice for yourself.

You can submit your resignation letter whenever you want to,

but such opportunity would be rare.

You'll choose to face the reality...

or run away only to keep your pride.

It's all up to you.

Who is it?

- Why are you here? - Why do you ask?

Seong Joon can come in, but I can't?

So you should've picked up my calls.

Goodness. You are certainly acting like a writer now.

What is your reason of visiting me?

Please tell me and leave.

What is this now?

Sell your synopsis.

- Excuse me? - I will buy your synopsis.

Just sell your synopsis and steer clear of my business.

- Director Bang. - You got lucky. A director who...

likes to revise terrible synopses like this, has turned up.

The director wants to film "Romance Learned through Books".

- Really? - But you are not confident, right?

- About what? - You are not confident that...

you can turn this synopsis into a 16-episode drama. Aren't I right?

Just because you were a runner-up at a competition,

doesn't make you a writer all of a sudden.

So what is your point?

How many times do I need to tell you?

Just sell your synopsis and stay out of this. You'll only cause trouble.

What if I say I won't?

Isn't that a better opportunity for you if you sell...

your synopsis and witness how your synopsis turns into a drama?

Who do you think will consider scripts that...

are written by a nameless writer?

Even if that's the case, I won't sell it.

Ms. Oh Dong Hui. Do you not take me seriously?

Do you think I came here to play with you?

Then, Director. Do you plan on playing with my writing?

- This is an insult. - My wish to buy it isn't an insult.

What is it then, if it's not an insult?

I mean to say I will purchase it fairly by paying you money for it.

But I won't sell it. No matter what happens, I won't sell it.

So please leave.

All right. I will go.

But think carefully.

Is it better to let your script come into the light?

Or is it better to let the result of your hard work...

rot away to never see the light of day?

Why are you drinking when you should be writing?

Let me join you.

Is something not going well?

Do I get to slack off only when things are not going well?

So you were slacking off.

I didn't know.

Is something wrong?

Today,

our drama got funded.

Goodness.

That's good news. The board was so unhappy...

with the Contents Team.

But why do you look so depressed?

Didn't everything turn out well?

I don't know.

Everything is all muddled up.

We got the funding,

but the investor worries me.

What do you mean the investor worries you?

It's complicated.

Also,

we got the funding,

but we have neither a screenwriter nor a script.

Nothing has been decided yet.

By the way,

what's wrong with you again?

I don't know.

I have a lot to think about, too.

So stop worrying and work with me.

Director Han.

Don't be afraid. I'm here for you.

Still, I don't have the courage.

I'm a rookie who just wrote one short drama.

It's not like I got an excellence award for it.

It was an honorable mention.

Do you know what that means?

I looked it up in the dictionary.

It means it's not as good as the winning work,

but it's a little good. It means it's a little good.

Did you know that?

Stop.

Being a little good is enough.

It could've been really bad.

Anyway, I don't have the confidence.

Let's do it. I'll help you.

No, I'm not doing it. I don't have the confidence.

I'm going to be humiliated...

and looked down by the entire nation.

I might be on the wanted list for not writing well.

Everyone will point fingers at me.

They won't.

You can do well, Dong Hui.

No. No. I will do bad.

You have to do it one day.

Aren't you going to be a writer?

I think...

I need to do it after about 10 years.

Dong Hui.

Anyway, I won't do it. I won't.

I said I'm not going to do it. Why do you guys keep pestering me?

Dad, it's me, Seong Joon.

Come in.

What is it?

Dad, is something wrong?

No. Why do you ask?

It's just...

Who's the woman...

you were with a while ago?

She knew me, so I was wondering who she was.

She's...

She's a former colleague. I knew her from my work.

So of course she knows you.

When you were young,

I took you with me to work,

and she saw you there.

Seong Joon,

why are you looking at me like that?

I'm telling the truth.

Okay.

All right.

Come again.

Come again.

When did you come?

Just now.

Why did you come? I can handle it alone.

You can go home and rest. You can watch the kids.

I don't have any kids to watch.

What do you mean?

I lost all my kids.

To whom?

Who do you think?

I'm telling you for the last time.

I decided not to care about our biological relation.

Once a son, always a son.

Got it?

Remember that.

Now, stop talking about that magic nonsense...

and start studying hard again.

Do you understand?

What if I don't want to?

You still have to do it.

You will study hard again like you used to.

I will make sure that happens.

I'm going to rip all my books!

Okay. Rip them all you like.

Rip them if that will help you relieve stress.

As long as you will study hard again like you used to,

I will gladly buy more than 1,000 books.

Why don't you keep ripping them?

Keep ripping.

I will come back in exactly 10 minutes.

Ah In, are you done, Darling?

Yes. Here.

You did very well.

Ah In, you are much better than the boys.

Really?

Thank you.

Ah In, you studied 50 words.

Should we study 50 more words?

- Okay. - You can do it, right?

You have to write 50 words 10 times, so that's 500 words.

Mom.

You're home, Son.

Yes.

Was it not too cold outside?

It was a little cold.

Right. Ah In needs to study.

Shall we go to your room and talk?

Sure.

Ah In, keep going.

- Okay. - Okay.

Let's go.

I am sorry I had to take care of Ji Hoon and Ah In...

and I couldn't go with you.

Did you give your teacher the lesson fee?

Yes. My teacher said...

only little kids come with their parents,

so I should come alone from now on.

No, I need to go...

to check how much you've progressed.

We will go together next time, okay?

RIght. How was today's lesson?

I practiced vocalization all day again.

Mom, honestly, it's too tiring and boring.

No, Chang Soo.

The strongest person is he who endures boredom.

You have to endure repeating the same things...

and practice everyday.

Only then, you can be a great vocalist.

- Okay? - Okay, Mom.

I am so proud of you, my son.

Go take a shower.

You need to get good grades to enter the art school.

Why don't you study with me?

Sure. Mom,

I feel like I'm destined to sing and study.

Really?

You're such a good boy.

That's my boy.

How lovely you are.

Do you think that's what I wanted?

I tried to stop her, saying this is nonsense.

Then, what?

But Hee Sook...

lost her mind and fiercely yelled at me.

I couldn't fight with her in front of the kids, so I just left.

Gosh. She completely beat you.

She told me not to come home before midnight.

Really? You did a great job.

- And... - What is it?

she asked if you can sleep in the restaurant and not come home.

- What? - She said the kids can't...

sleep tight because of your snoring. And they can't study well next day.

So she wants you to live here.

- What? - This is unbelievable.

Honey, what should we do with her?

We can never defeat her at all.

What do we do now?

I have a headache.

Chang Soo, are you studying?

Yes, Mom.

- I love you. - Me, too.

Ji Hoon, did you tear the book apart?

I bought three more copies for you.

What happened to Ryu Myung Jin?

It's him who sang songs in your room, right?

Gosh. How did you know that?

I ran into him at the faculty cafeteria. What's going on?

Why is he in Korea now?

That's enough. He's Jeong Eun's dad.

He's not my daughter's dad. I don't know him.

He'd disappeared for 30 years. How can he be Jeong Eun's dad?

Tell me why he's here.

I will wait just three months,

and if I can't still get over him,

I'll move to New York, too.

Welcome.

Dad!

How have you been, my daughter?

Dad!

- When did you come back? - It's been a couple of days.

Let me see...

if you've become more beautiful during the last six months.

You've become more handsome.

Do you think so?

Dad.

Goodness.

This is espresso, your favorite.

Please try it. It is as good as the ones you had in Italy.

It's great.

Anyway, why did you return to Korea?

You didn't tell me you'd come back.

You appeared...

in my life one day out of the blue.

Is it because I visited you when I was traveling?

That's right.

I needed some time to cancel the operas...

scheduled to be held in Italy and France. That's why I came late.

I see.

Have you...

met with Mom?

I have.

What did she say?

Didn't she hurt you or something?

I'm sure she didn't just let you go.

She dashed away.

You should've talked to me first before you went to see her.

You shouldn't have met her alone that recklessly.

Dad, you are in danger.

You really are in danger.

I know. It's been about 30 years.

- Dad... - Right, Jeong Eun.

- Why don't you come to my concert? - Sorry?

Come with your mom.

(World-renowned Baritone Ryu Myung Jin, Comeback concert)

Dad, I can be there, but...

You must bring your mom, too.

Dad,

she might set off a bomb...

at the concert hall. Then, it will ruin your concert.

That's what I want.

- Pardon? - I loved Ae Ri with all my heart...

in my vigorous youth. If it's her who detonates a bomb,

I am more than willing...

to die.

Dying on the stage while singing...

by the lady I love...

is so dramatic, isn't it?

That's what my lifetime dream is.

Dad...

Espresso has an aroma of men.

What? She didn't give you the money back?

No, Mother. I can't tell her to pay back...

since I'm her mother-in-law.

How much is it?

It's 79 dollars.

That's too little. Just think you paid for her this time.

Mother, it's a lot to me.

I don't get pension, and my sons do not pay rent.

I barely make my both ends meet with the money I saved...

with the pension.

So 79 dollars is a large amount of money to me.

That's the amount we can live a week on.

Do you think she has no plan to pay back?

Yes. I went to her place for that money,

but she just said,

"What brings you here, Mother", blinking her eyes like this.

I couldn't tell her to give me the money, so I just left.

- Dear me. - What should I do?

I'm really on a tight budget.

It's not embarrassing for children...

to ask their parents for help, while parents cannot even ask...

their kids to pay back the borrowed money.

It is so unfair.

You're right.

What should we do to make her pay it back?

What are you doing?

Don't talk to me. I'm counting money.

Actually,

I have something to tell you.

What is it?

What? What did you say?

Why...

are you yelling at me?

You just made me yell at you.

We don't have that large amount of money.

What do you mean?

We got the deposit back from our house in Daechi-dong.

We already spent one-third of it.

What? Where did you spend that much money on?

You haven't made money for a while, have you?

You were fired from the television show and took money for your office.

I still took take care of Ji Hoon.

Now we have Chang Soo.

Do you know how much his tutoring costs?

And Ji Hoon needs to resume the private lesson.

Why do we pay for his private lesson?

If we don't, Hye Joo won't let him take it. Is that okay with you?

And I will buy a piano for Chang Soo this week.

What? Why does he need a piano?

Those who study vocal music all know how to play the piano.

He has to pass the piano exam to enter Seoul National University.

What?

He needs to take a piano lesson...

and a sight-singing and ear-training session.

It costs a bomb.

Goodness.

Things have become terrible since they were switched.

Don't say that ever. I will make Chang Soo...

a world-class singer by any means.

What about me?

I join Minjeong Party today. I have to make a donation,

and I have to pay 20,000 dollars for the by-election.

What am I supposed to do?

Stop with the politic nonsense.

What?

Just work hard as a lawyer,

and make money. Okay?

What... What did you say?

Give me money, too. Give me money!

- Let it go. - You tore it. Give it to me.

- You're tearing them. - Let it go!

Ouch. My goodness.

- Oh, dear. My back hurts. - Gosh, my money.

My back hurts.

Grandmother, I'm here. Where are you?

We're in here. Come inside.

Grandmother. Did you want to see me?

- Come on in. - You're here, too, Mother.

Oh, my. What are you doing?

Let's play cards.

- Cards? - Yes.

Jeong Ae and I wanted to play,

but we were short one person. So I called you.

Oh... I see.

You brought some money with you, right?

No, I didn't.

Let's just start playing,

and if you lose,

go downstairs and get money. Okay?

If I lose, of course I will do that.

By the way, how much is the stake money?

Let me do it.

Here. Grab some.

I'll take one of the Bright cards.

There we go. I'm so lucky.

- I have nothing to take. - Discard one, then.

Oh, I have this.

Grandmother, you're unlucky with your second cards.

I've got three Red Ribbon cards.

Now, this will get me...

3 Red Ribbon cards and 3 Blue Ribbon cards.

Shall we continue? I call the second go.

- Oh, dear. - Goodness.

I have nothing to take. Where did they all go?

- There. - Oh, gosh.

I call the third go.

Why can't you take any cards, Mother? Look at this.

Now, Grandmother owes me nine dollars,

and Mother owes me five dollars.

My gosh. If you keep this up,

I'll have to sell my land. Here.

I don't have five dollars.

This is all I've got left.

How much is that?

It's 4 dollars and 30 cents.

Oh, my.

- Look at her. - Now,

this is our final game.

Here we go.

My goodness. I didn't know she was so good at this.

Don't cry. Why are you crying?

I don't believe you.

You said you will help me win 79 dollars from Hee Sook.

I've lost 15 dollars, let alone winning any money.

I didn't know she was so good at playing cards.

She won all our money. How can she leave...

without giving us some winner's tip?

What do I do now, Mother?

Hee Sook didn't pay me for the groceries, and I lost money to her.

You should pay me that money yourself.

Fine. I'll pay you.

Stop crying!

Is Dong Hui absent again today?

Yes.

Gosh, I can't believe her.

If she doesn't want to become a writer,

she should keep working hard as an office assistant.

Look at our office now with her gone.

Our office is a big mess.

Producer Kim. What are you going to do?

Leave her be. Let her quit.

- What? - She's so ungrateful.

So many people want to become a writer,

but she refuses to become one when the director loves her script...

and our company is backing her up.

Leave her be. Let her work as an office assistant forever.

Aren't you being too harsh?

Maybe Dong Hui is just afraid.

There's nothing to be afraid of. She's just acting to be weak.

Is Dong Hui absent today as well?

Yes, Ma'am.

She must be very sick. She says she can't move at all.

You don't have to cover for her. I saw her and she was fine.

Pardon?

I guess Dong Hui didn't say anything to you.

What are you talking about?

I thought you would rush into my office...

and lash out at me again.

I went to see Dong Hui yesterday and asked her to sell her synopsis.

What?

What else could I do?

We already got investments, and the TV station wants her synopsis.

Dong Hui is a rookie. I didn't have any other choices.

Did you really do that?

That's why I offered her a handsome amount.

I haven't even offered that kind of money to any experienced writers.

That's not what I was asking.

Does it have to be Dong Hui?

Can't you just give her up?

This is work. I'm not doing this to take her side.

Our team's existence depends on this.

That's why you should convince her to sell her synopsis.

Tell her to decide whether she will make a waste,

or make use of it and gain a foothold.

It's not a bad offer for her.

Mi Joo.

It's been a while since you called me by my name.

We don't have much time.

The broadcasting station is rushing us to set up a meeting.

Seong Joon. Please convince her.

How can you draw red lines on my script, and leave comments like...

"It's childish", "It's cliche", "Fix it", and "I don't get this"?

How can you be so mean?

I was trying to support you.

Romantic comedy is the most sophisticated genre.

The new trend is that the drama either has a fantasy...

or fully reflects the reality.

Give it to me.

Don't move.

This is what I'm talking about. When a man and a woman meet,

they should confront each other...

without caring about reasons or courtesy.

You said you want to become a writer.

You should free yourself and be ahead of the viewers.

At this rate, the viewers won't wait for you.

Hello?

It's me.

Yes. Go ahead.

There are people who have been following me since that day.

I don't know what to do.

I can't move out, but I can't stay here, either.

Also, the company that Dong Hui works for...

is Hwashin Group.

Its name has changed, so I didn't know.

What should I do?

If something goes wrong...

I don't know what I should do.

That's bad news.

Please find Chairwoman Park as soon as possible.

Where has she been for the past 20 years?

Not once...

has she ever contacted me. How can she do that?

Is it even true that she's still alive?

How did it go?

Yes.

Ms. Oh Gui Boon's everyday life haven't changed much since then.

Is that so?

She didn't show...

any signs of moving out or disappearing.

She didn't meet anyone particular, either.

What kind of work...

is Dong Hui doing at my company now?

She was hired as an office assistant,

but her synopsis recently got...

an honorable mention at Channel T's contest.

She may be the writer of the new show of contents marketing team.

Writer?

Yes, Sir.

What's wrong, President Bang?

Nothing. I'm okay.

I just...

miss my sister-in-law who passed away.

Your sister-in-law?

My sister-in-law...

wanted to be a writer...

before she married my brother.

I...

miss her very much today.

Yes. What is it?

- Can I see you? - I'm busy, too. What is it?

I'll wait for you.

What is it?

What do you want? I'm a busy person, too.

If you have something to say, fire it away.

You didn't come to work today, and you just stayed home.

How can you tell your boss to come to you?

Do you think of me...

- as some kind of a pushover? - I will do it.

- What? - I will give it a try.

I'll write the screenplay version of "Romance Learned through Books".

I won't sell my story to anyone.

I won't let someone else write my story.

I won't shove it in a dark corner of my room.

I will give it a try and write it.

It's my child, so I will write...

and make it see the light.

- Dong Hui. - Are you happy now?

So don't talk to me so bluntly like,

"What is it? I'm busy, too."

I'm glad you came around. Thank you, Dong Hui.

Wait.

Stay still.

Let me hug the writer who will soon become the greatest writer of Korea.

But...

honestly I am not confident about it.

Don't worry. I'm here for you.

You trust me, don't you?

I do.

We just have to keep doing what we have been doing.

We can do well.

Trust me and trust yourself.

Okay.

Thank you so much.

Thank you, Dong Hui.

What did you just say?

Why are you yelling?

Hey, how can I not be upset?

What did you just say? Repeat what you just said.

I did my calculation in the office.

And I realized that we've spent...

a substantial amount of money...

while raising Ji Hoon for 15 years.

The money spent on his food and clothes is okay.

But the problem is...

the money we spent on his education.

It adds up to a substantial amount, you see.

So what?

So I was thinking...

I just entered politics,

and I'm a little short on money. Can't you return...

a small portion of the money...

we have spent on Ji Hoon's education?

What?

Please?

Here you go.

- Take that and get out of here. - Hey!

No matter how desperate you are,

how can you ask to return the money you spent on your child?

We are really struggling these days!

Then you should pay for Chang Soo's vocal lessons.

Fine. We will pay for Chang Soo's education.

So send him back to us.

You said it. You're really going to pay for...

- Chang Soo's education, right? - I just said that!

- Come here. I will kill you. - Why are you...

- threatening me with a chicken? - Come here!

Come here!

- Gosh! I will get back at you! - Hey! Come here.

I am going to tell mom that you hit me.

Go ahead and tell her, you idiot!

I avoided it! How's that?

Gosh, he's unbelievable.

Goodness, I am sorry about this.

- Can I still get fried chicken? - Of course you can. Come in.

Which one would you like to order?

Actually,

I don't care about the chicken.

You are Hyung Seop's eldest son, Seong Hoon, aren't you?

Yes, I am.

- Let go of me. - You're Seong Joon, aren't you?

- Seong Hoon. - You're here.

Why did you want to see me?

I wanted to talk to you in private.

What is it?

What? Are you serious?

Yes.

What did that woman tell you?

She didn't say something else.

She mentioned Seong Joon and asked for money.

She said she wanted to open a store.

Did you give her the money or not?

Gosh, Dad. I don't have that much money on me.

Dad,

I am really sorry to ask,

but who is she?

Is she Seong Joon's biological mother?

Hello.

I am the handsome lawyer, Han Seong Sik.

I am the new blood of Minjeong Party, Han Seong Sik.

Thank you.

You look like a politician now, Attorney Han.

Your infinite faith in me made everything possible.

Good luck. You should use this opportunity...

- to catch more people's attention. - I will work hard.

Attorney Han,

- congratulations. - I will remain royal forever!

- Let's do it! - Let's do it!

Let's do it!

Sir?

Sir!

Sir.

Why are you so surprised?

What is it?

Did you think I killed myself or something?

Like my father?

That's half right...

and half wrong.

I will never become like my dad.

I sat here for four days...

and tried to understand my dad.

I tried to think about how he would've felt...

and in what state he would've been in.

What should I do now?

What do you want to do?

Seong Joon.

Isn't this your phone?

It's you, Mr. Lee. Where are you coming from?

Yes.

President Lee. Why don't you go inside?

Goodbye.

He's a bit strange today.

What are you going to do now?

I'll do everything as I planned.

People in this town slandered my father which led to his death.

Hyung Seop's family...

made my brother die...

on the cold street in the end. I must punish them.

I'll do it as I planned.

It will greatly affect this neighborhood.

I don't care.

I'm not going to forgive them.

Inadequate forgiveness results in a tragedy.

People don't change. They can't defeat the truth.

All people are selfish.

They have to lose things they cherish and see them get destroyed.

That's when they regret their wrongdoings.

How is it going with Seong Sik?

He already joined Minjeong Party.

I think...

he will soon be nominated for the by-election.

How about Mal Ja's clinic?

It's still in operation.

Is that so?

I see.

President Lee. What are you doing?

Are you okay?

I'm going to the clinic.

Okay.

(Yoon Surgery Clinic)

What's wrong?

It's nothing.

You were fond of me.

Why are you trembling?

You're a doctor. I'm sure you've done this a lot.

No. I'm not trembling.

I just have been on edge lately.

By the way, when did you become a doctor?

Why?

Why are you asking?

No reason.

I was just curious.

Why would you be curious about that?

As far as I know, you were the doctor at the emergency room...

of Seorin Hospital at the intersection 23 years ago.

How did you know that?

You should pick up your tweezers.

Come on.

You should change them.

You're not going to use that to treat my wound, are you?

Why did you do it?

Do what? What?

Your friend, Ms. Kim Geum Ja...

ran an academy called "Geumbit Academy".

When their bus driver had an accident while drunk driving,

why did you fabricate the story?

Why did you fabricate...

the blood test result of the driver?

What are you talking about?

I don't know about that.

Did it break your heart...

to see your precious children suffer a little wound?

Is that why you thought the man who were treated as an alcoholic...

can be treated like that forever?

Mr. Lee.

Who are you? Tell me who you are.

You took your anger out on the driver,

and that poor man hung himself.

One of his sons...

was hit by a dump truck and torn apart.

Mr. Lee.

Are you...

the driver's son?

(Father, I'll Take Care of You)

Dad. Please do what she wants,

and end things with her for Mom's sake.

Producer Kim and Ms. Hong, please say hello.

Hello. I'm Choi Jin Kyung.

Is she my birth mother?

Seong Joon. I'm here.

Dong Hui doesn't look like her grandmother at all.

I'm really scared.

Quit everything and marry me, then.

Do Not Set Aside The Grace of God - Duration: 6:34.

Today on Beloved Women

Let's think this through Beloved.

If there was another way for us to be saved, if we could somehow work for it, if we could

somehow be good enough for it, do you honestly believe God would have sent His only Son to

die in our place.

Thank you so much for tuning into Beloved Women where we encourage, uplift and equip

women in the love of Jesus Christ and the truth of God's word.

For even more free resources from Beloved Women and to subscribe to our weekly devotion

I invite you to visit belovedwomen.org.

Now enjoy today's video with me, Christina Patterson.

Hello Beloved!

Welcome back as we continue our "Already Free" series as we work our way through the book

of Galatians to discover how to experience true freedom in Christ.

If you are new here welcome!

I've designed these videos so you and jump in at any point but please be sure to subscribe

so you never miss a video.

And for those returning welcome back Beloved!

Last week we kind of skimmed over a very important verse in our study of Galatians that I want

us to take a deeper look at this week.

This is a verse to further help us grasp the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in order that we may

truly experience the free life Christ died for us to enjoy.

Today I want to get right into the text by reading Galatians 2:21 where Paul says:

"I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the

law, Christ died for nothing!"

- Galatians 2:21 NIV

If you remember the Galatians have been tempted to think that in order to receive salvation

from God they must partake in Jewish traditions.

Paul has fervently been advocating against this false belief using argument after argument

to support the true Gospel that says there is nothing we can do to be saved.

We are only saved by grace through faith.

And in doing so he reminds the Galatians that the law, or the rules given to the Israelites

by God through Moses only show us our sin but cannot save us from it.

We are only saved by the grace of God.

So I love that Paul says: I do not set aside the grace of God.

Because this is essentially what the Galatians are doing, this is what we do every time we

think we can earn our salvation, we reject God's grace and the work Jesus has already

done on the cross.

When my son is finished eating he always does the same thing to let us know he is finished,

the pushes his plate away from him, setting it aside as a message that he no longer has

need for it anymore.

When I'm cooking I set aside the ingredients that I don't need yet, ingredients that

will be of no use to me in the current moment.

When it comes to finances my husband and I set aside money that we do not want to use.

When you set something aside it's because you don't need it, it's in your way, you don't

want to use it, or it's not important.

And there are times and reasons we need to set certain things aside but God's grace is

never one of them.

Now maybe you've set aside the grace of God because you feel you need to work for

His love and approval.

Maybe you've set aside the grace of God because you feel like your sin is just too

much, you are in the pits of sin and you think not even God's grace can pull you out of

this one.

Maybe you know that God is powerful, and a healer, and deliverer, and can do anything,

but you've set aside the grace of God because you don't trust that He will do it for you.

But despite our feelings, and fears and how great our sin may be the Word of God tells

us do not set aside the grace of God.

Because no matter how hard we try, we cannot receive salvation without grace.

Grace is the unearned favor of God.

The Bible tells us it is a gift and you don't earn gifts, you can only receive it.

So do not set it aside for any reason.

But if you are tempted to think otherwise, let' go there are see what happens.

Let's just go down this path of thinking we can earn our own salvation.

Let's say there is some level of work we can actually achieve that will grant us salvation,

right relationship with God, and forgiveness of our sin through our own work and effort.

Then what?

Paul pleads and reasons that if this is the case, then Christ died for nothing.

He explains that if righteousness could be gained through our effort, work and our trying

to be good Christ died in vain.

Let's think this through Beloved.

If there was another way for us to be saved, if we could somehow work for it, if we could

somehow be good enough for it, do you honestly believe God would have sent His only Son to

die in our place.

If there was another way for us to have our sins forgiven that we may be in right relationship

and right standing before God to you think that God would have allowed His Son to suffer

even one minute.

Would He have allowed His Son to carry such a lonely, bloody, gruesome burden if there

was another way?

I cannot logically believe that if there was another way for God to bring salvation into

this world He would still have allowed His son to be crucified.

His only Son, with whom He was well pleased to take on such a punishment if it were not

necessary.

God allowed it because it was the only way for us to receive forgiveness of our sins

and salvation.

It was the only act of God that would reconcile us to God and prevent our eternal separation

from Him.

It shows how much He desperately wants us and to be in relationship with us so everytime

we set aside God's grace, it's like telling Jesus he really didn't have to die.

It's like saying it wasn't that serious.

But because Jesus did die, because He freely gave His life, reason tells us it was not

for fun or sport but because it had to be done.

If Jesus did not die, there would be no salvation for anyone.

So the next time you are tempted to think you are not good enough for God, that your

sin is too much to forgive, that your past is bigger than His love for you I urge you

to resist putting aside the grace of God.

Because Christ did not die for noting.

He died for you.

Now I want to hear from you today Beloved.

What is one thing that has happened in your life that you know was nothing but the grace

of God!

How can you know about your audience's accessibility needs? - Duration: 2:46.

Are you organizing events? Or perhaps

preparing a presentation? Are you a

marketing designer, or do you work in

a company with a number of employees?

Either way, my guess is that you're doing

something with people and for people.

Now, just as I have green eyes and brown

hair, and you might not, every individual in

your surroundings or audience is a bit

different.

Some see a little more - or less. Some hear a

little more - or less. Some can concentrate

better, and others get easily distracted.

Some understand your creations

immediately, and others need more

explanations. So, if you have a

well-defined audience, such as your event

invitees, your team members or colleagues,

your customers and followers.

You can now find out what they need in

order to attend, register, enlist,

understand, engage or buy your products.

Now, what if they could tell you what

would make their experience more

accessible for them?

Wouldn't that be valuable? Free feedback? Easy

improvements?

My name is Nadine and I believe that

everyone should be able to best enjoy

your creation! So, on one hand, it's very

easy to find out... Just ask! But yeah, it's

not always obvious what to ask for. I get

that.

Therefore, I've prepared a simple and FREE

form that you can use to ask your

audience what they need. To best tailor

it for your individual needs

you can also add and remove questions,

a registration section, or add your own logo or

background. And when you're ready, just send

it out to your audience,

share it, or add it to your website. Then,

when convenient for you - at a

specific date, or every two months or

half a year - you can get a report with

a summary of all requests and a list

of recommendations explaining how to

best cater for that

specific need. Don't worry, most often

you won't have to build a physical ramp,

but perhaps create an alternative link

edit some word or change a color.

It's usually really simple. So go ahead,

find out what your audience wants, what would be

appreciated and what what would make

their experience truly unforgettable.

Just click the link below here and get

access to your FREE accessibility form.

Good luck! And see on the other side...
