Waching daily Feb 13 2017

Today I'm sharing with you a couple of really cool cake decorating techniques for Star Wars themed birthday cakes.

Before we get started, please subscribe to my channel by clicking on the subscribe button

so you won't miss a thing.

I'm going to share how to create a galaxy affect with buttercream, chocolate and white

chocolate drips, a chocolate galaxy backdrop and more.

I'm starting off with my tried and true vanilla butter cake with a thin layer of my

lemon curd recipe followed by a generous helping of lemon buttercream.

I put links to all the recipes and my free buttercream e-book in the description

box below the video.

Press the second layer of cake onto the filling and then crumb coat with a thin layer of lemon

buttercream.

I'm using one of my top five buttercream recipes which is in my free e-book.

If you'd like a copy pause the video and go to the link in the description box to grab your complimentary copy

Start with a generous amount of black buttercream.

Spread it over the top and down the sides very thick.

Smooth and even out the sides by holding a bench scraper vertically against the cake

while turning.

Even off the top edges with a spatula starting from left to right gently scraping the excess.

I used a mixture of silver, white and black dragees and tossed them randomly.

This is a super simple way to create the look of a starry sky.

The second and more colorful galaxy sky is created using dabs light and dark pink, blue

or purple, and black buttercream.

Leave some spaces of white.

Now with a spatula or bench scraper tool, blend the colors on the first couple of turns

and if needed add a few more dabs of color.

Using the bench scraper tool put a little more pressure, removing some of the black

to reveal the color underneath.

Be careful not to over blend the colors.

Silver pearlized sugar sprinkles tossed at random gives a nice star effect.

The chocolate pieces can be made ahead of time.

Here I am using an R two D two silicone mold filling it with white candy melts, you can also use regular white chocolate.

I bought a collection of Star Wars molds that I really like.

Link is at the website on my cake decorating supplies page, and I'll put one in the description box below.

For the black and silver cake, I decided to use the white chocolate candy melts for

my drip.

I also wanted to have more control over the drips so If you use a spoon to add them carefully you can control them somewhat.

You can also use a squeeze bottle.

Then you can finish off the top using a spatula to spread the candy coating evenly.

For the dark chocolate drip I added a generous amount of black paste food coloring to darken

the chocolate even more.

Again, I'm using a spoon for this so I can control the drips somewhat.

Refrigerate the cakes to harden the chocolate so you can paint on a shimmering silver lustre

dust.

The gives the drips a metallic appearance and it really brings out the details.

To create a really cool and festive galaxy backdrop melt dark or white chocolate and

pour it onto a piece of waxed paper spread it to about one eight to one sixteenth of

an inch, swirl in small amounts of colored candy melts, lightly run the edge of a knife

or spatula through the swirls.

Then sprinkle on a variety of dragees of different colors and sizes.

Freeze the chocolate for about ten minutes.

Then peel off the waxed paper.

Break it into large pieces.

Here is an example of one of the molded candies being removed from the Star Wars silicone

molds after setting in the freezer.

They are very detailed.

Piping a border comes next.

I used a round Wilton tip for this simple buttercream border on both cakes.

To attach the galaxy backdrop use some melted chocolate and one of the smaller pieces as

a wedge on the backside.

Set it up in the fridge before continuing.

Use a dab of chocolate to attach the large chocolate pieces.

This is Captain Phasma and I glued him on using a little bit of chocolate on his plastic

backside.

Than you can add other embellishments.

I chose Hershey's Kisses and Oreo cookies.

The letters are made of gumpaste using Tappits.

Look for the link in the description box or at the end of the video.

Attach them with a tiny bit of water.

You can make a Darth Vader mask out of black gumpaste, download and print and image that

you like and trace it.

Mine is a simplified version.

Again you can use chocolate to attach your pieces to the top of the cake.

For Darth Vader I used one of the extra candy molds as a support.

Using a sugar veil burlap mat I experimented a little bit to create interesting textures

and was hoping it would appear as a mangled spacecraft.

Not so sure I accomplished that but I tried.

I attached the Kylo Ren with a little bit of chocolate and then lustre dusted the white chocolate

I love the way R two D two came out.

He is so detailed.

And the Darth Vader chocolate came out cool too.

I went back in and added some detail to the Darth Vader mask.

I wasn't quite happy with it being so plain.

I also went back and added some color to R two D two, first with gel paste and then the

Wilton Writer pens.

If you want to learn how to use Tappits to make these cool letters, follow the links

in the description box or at the end of the video.

I hope you enjoyed my cool Star Wars cake designs and picked up a cake decorating tip

Creating Markiplier and Jacksepticeye PRINTABLES for you! | Stay organized with these printables - Duration: 6:10.

Hello everybody!

I have something special for you today!

I know most of you are still in school and well, this might sound cheesy,

but I really care about your education and I want to encourage you to keep on learning

and aim to be great students.

The school year is coming to an end and it can be very stressful to keep up with everything

while you prepare for you finals.

So I've created a set of printables that can help you stay organized and motivated

during this time.

Do your best, friends!

This video was sponsored by GraphicStock and they provided the beautiful graphics included

in these printables.

It's the largest library of photos, illustrations and vectors on the internet, with over three

hundred thousand downloadable items!

I really love plants and flowers and I want to include them in our printables, so let's

see what we can find!

There are many options to filter our results, although I prefer "Highest rated" and

"Most downloaded".

You can also filter them by the kind of content they are: illustrations, photographs or vectors.

Let's try to be more specific with our keywords.

Alright, this is looking good!

So, let's filter by most downloaded and… choose this one!

There are different download options available.

I would recommend EPS, PNG or PSD files if available.

If you scroll down you can see related images and BOY are these pretty!

I love them all!

Look at these…!

These colours go really well with my branding, so I'm going to download and use this in

our printables.

Let's look for sunflowers, they will add a touch of colour to our printables!

And perhaps, some animal graphics like a fox or owls…

Let's see!

Go to graphicstock.com/youtube or click the link in the description box below to get an

exclusive 7-day free trial!

During the trial you can download 140 pieces of content and keep them forever!

How awesome is that?

I actually took advantage of this last year and created these cute printables, which were

my inspiration for today's video.

Don't worry, the membership comes with a 100% royalty free agreement so you won't

get in trouble

with the copyright holders and you can use them for commercial purposes!

They also offer unlimited downloads with their annual plan which is $99.

Most websites charge you up to $30 per image and – well, ain't nobody got money for dat!

But with GraphicStock you can have unlimited downloads for the price of just 3 images in

other stock websites!

Let's get started with the fun part: making our printables!

I'm making these in Photoshop.

I'm making a habit tracker to help you develop good habits.

If you want to be an artist, you could use this habit tracker to keep you accountable

to practice daily.

Or to study a bit everyday so that you won't feel stressed out and spend sleepless nights

studying for your finals.

Or perhaps you could really use some more exercise in your life but you have a hard

time finding the motivation to do it.

Some of you told me you had already failed your new year's resolutions,

well, it's February and there's still plenty of time ahead of you to go back to

your resolutions and stick to them!

Now you'll be able to keep track of your progress and nail those resolutions!

Cross out every day that you are able to keep up your new habit, and at the end of the month,

congratulate yourself on a job well done!

Next up is a cute printable schedule for those of you who are still in school.

For this, I selected blue and green graphics to make it appealing to the eyes,

and combined it with one of my most popular fanarts of Mark and Jack!

I remember when I was still in highschool, and even during my years at university actually,

looking at the schedule ahead overwhelmed me and made me wish it was summer already

So I want to make sure you feel inspired when you look at your new schedule,

Mark and Jack will be there to encourage you to keep pushing forward through the week,

doing your best in every subject :D

The next two projects go hand in hand, a morning routine and a bedtime routine!

These will help you prepare for the day ahead, set some goals for yourself and feel more

in control of your time.

The morning routine should have a small list of tasks you need to do before you leave your

home,

like prepare your clothes, take a shower, get your lunchbox or that essay you need to

hand in today.

You also have room to set some goals for the day, perhaps you want to study one hour, get

that sketch finished, or try that new cheesecake recipe!

I love cheesecake so much *cries*

Of course, this morning routine also features Mark and Jack,

what a wonderful way to start the day!

And, last but not least, the bedtime routine!

It's the same as the morning routine but this time you'll include things you need

to do or prepare before going to bed.

Don't forget to write down what the best moments of the day were, sometimes we don't

pay enough attention to the things that matter most!

Before you roll into bed, congratulate yourself on a job well done and rest well,

for tomorrow will be better.

Please, be considerate of the environment.

You can print a copy of each printable and plastificate it,

that way, you'll be able to write on it and remove it day after day, without printing

unnecessary copies.

You can find the printables in the description and don't forget to sign up for your free

trial at graphicstock.com/youtube or using the link in the description!

Thank you so much for watching and for supporting my channel!

I hope these printables are useful to you and thank you to the team at graphicstock.com

for sponsoring this video!

Treatment Options for Trigeminal Neuralgia - Duration: 5:06.

Hello, I'm Dr. Steven Bailey, and I am a neurosurgeon with Mayfield Brain & Spine.

I would like to talk to you today about trigeminal neuralgia, a pain syndrome that can be terribly

disruptive of people's lives.

I became interested in treating trigeminal neuralgia during my training at the Medical

University of South Carolina and at Mayfield Clinic.

Both programs treat a great many patients with trigeminal neuralgia, and I've experienced

real satisfaction from helping people recover from this very painful condition.

Trigeminal neuralgia is an inflammation of the trigeminal nerve, which supports sensation

in the face.

This condition typically affects one side of the face, and it can occur anywhere from the

jaw to the forehead to the area around the eye.

It typically begins with brief but very intense shocking sensations, which can be triggered

by pretty innocuous activities of daily living, such as brushing one's teeth, chewing, talking,

or a draft of cold air that is hitting the face.

Trigeminal neuralgia can be completely debilitating.

We see people who can no longer work, who can't carry out normal activities, who have

difficulty shaving, eating or washing their face because of the pain.

Trigeminal neuralgia can be associated with a few diseases, such as multiple sclerosis,

but in most cases it is idiopathic, which means that it simply develops without known

cause.

It is possible, though not proven, that genetics play a role in the origin of TN.

During the early stages, trigeminal neuralgia can be managed with medications.

But as time goes on, the medications can lose their effectiveness.

At Mayfield, we treat patients whose trigeminal pain is no longer controlled by medications

in one of three ways.

The first treatment is called a microvascular decompression, or MVD.

An MVD is a form of open surgery, in which an opening called a craniotomy is cut into

the bony skull.

This exposes the trigeminal nerve where it leaves the brainstem.

During this procedure, we look for a blood vessel that may be compressing or sitting

on the nerve and causing pain.

We then separate the blood vessel from the nerve and insert a cushion.

This procedure is performed in the hospital, and the patient remains in the hospital several

nights.

The second treatment is called a percutaneous stereotactic radiofrequency rhizotomy.

This is a more minimally invasive treatment, and it is performed at the Mayfield outpatient

surgery center.

During the procedure, I place an electrode through the skin of the cheek and into the

nerve.

Our goal is to cause some controlled damage to the portion of nerve that is involved in

the distribution of pain.

Patients who undergo a PSR go home the same day.

The third treatment involves radiation.

The goal of radiation treatment is to damage the trigeminal nerve root to interrupt the

pain signals and keep them from reaching the brain.

Stereotactic radiosurgery is a noninvasive outpatient procedure that uses highly focused

radiation beams to destroy some of the trigeminal nerve fibers that produce pain.

Radiosurgery is delivered by systems such as Leksell Gamma Knife or a linear accelerator

system such as the BrainLab Novalis.

A stereotactic head frame or facemask is attached to the patient's head to precisely target

the nerve and to hold the head still during treatment.

Highly focused beams of radiation are delivered to the trigeminal nerve root over a period

of about an hour.

Pain relief may not occur immediately but rather gradually over time.

A majority of patients will eventually experience improvement of their symptoms, although some

may need to continue taking pain medication.

Many patients are candidates for more than one type of procedure, so we take several

things into consideration.

These include previous treatments, any additional health conditions the patient has, and -- certainly

-- the patient's preference.

Oftentimes the hardest part of this condition is receiving the correct diagnosis and getting

to the people who are able to help you.

Once patients get to the right clinical practice, their trigeminal pain is quite treatable.

When I see patients with trigeminal neuralgia, their biggest concern is usually,

"How quickly can I get relief?"

I tell them that their condition is a priority, and we will expedite their care as quickly

as possible so that they can get back to enjoying life .

I hope this has answered your questions about how we treat trigeminal neuralgia.

Mix Lemon Juice and Olive Oil for Amazing Benefits - Duration: 4:22.

We are always on the look out for all-natural alternatives to over-the-counter or prescription

medication. It seems that we found one in lemon juice and olive oil. In today's video,

we will discuss the health benefits of mixing the two.

While you're not going to cure major diseases when drinking olive oil and lemon juice, this

mixture has been shown to reduce problematic symptoms and prevent complications. Now, let's

discuss:

1. Detox the Body

Lemon juice and olive oil are both known substances for detoxifying your body. They can rid your

body of harmful toxins. They also help to clean your gallbladder and liver and help

to protect them against damaging particles.

2. Relieves Constipation

Olive oil is a natural laxative that helps to keep your bowels moving and comfortable.

Lemon juice is an anti-inflammatory and helps to relieve any swelling of the intestines

and the abdominal wall. The mixture of the two does wonders for your stomach, as it keeps

your bowels moving, relieves painful gas and reduces abdominal stress.

3. Benefits Hair, Skin and Nails

The mixture of olive oil and lemon juice helps to keep your nails moist and strong. The mixture

can even be added directly to your cuticles to keep them healthy and reduce the chances

of growing a hangnail. The lemon juice also fights germs and cleans your skin, so it also

reduces or rids your scalp of dandruff.

4. Cholesterol

This mixture can bring down high levels of bad cholesterol, while simultaneously increasing

your good cholesterol. It can also help to keep your joints moving smoothly and minimizes

stress on your joints and bones.

5. Helps with Circulation

Olive oil helps increase the blood flow throughout your body and prevents blood clots from forming.

Along with consuming the olive oil and lemon juice mixture, you can even apply it directly

to your skin to prevent and reduce the appearance of varicose veins.

6. Fights Abdominal Fat

While this mixture will not burn your fat, it can help you to remove excess weight. The

mixture helps your body to digest fats better and increases your metabolism. The mixture

contains fatty acids that are important to your body because they help to get rid of

excess water weight and burn excess fat in your stomach.

7. Helps with Blood Pressure

Consuming some olive oil and lemon juice for breakfast will make sure your blood pressure

stays stable and does not spike up. It will also help to make your heart rate more regular.

This is because lemons and olive oil fight toxins and contains essential minerals.

8. Fights Premature Aging

Just one spoonful of this mixture everyday will keep your skin healthy and youthful.

The mixture contains Vitamin E, which is essential in fighting wrinkles, arthritis and heart

disease. The mixture also contains mono-saturated fats and essential minerals that help your

organs and your digestive system to function properly.

So, now that you know the benefits of mixing olive oil and lemon juice, you are likely

wondering how it is made. It is important that you do not take more than one spoonful

of this mixture per day. If you do, you may experience some ill side effects.

Ingredients:

½ tablespoon olive oil ½ tablespoon fresh lemon juice

What to do:

Mix the two ingredients together and consume one half hour before breakfast.

While you can use this mixture everyday, you will want to consume it at least three times

per week to experience positive effects.

Are you going to try this mixture? Let us know what you think in our comment section.

Pokemon Insider's Top 10 Pokemon - 50k Subscriber Special - Duration: 6:19.

So, the channel broke 50,000 subscribers recently, and I greatly appreciate your continued support

and encouragement throughout my channel's lifespan.

With that said, I want to make a more personal video, and what better than a Top 10 list

counting down my 10 favorite Pokemon of all time.

As always, I'm Pokemon Insider, and let's get started.

10.

Starting off my list is the Pokemon that started my adventures in the world of video games,

Feraligatr.

When I first got into Pokemon, I played Pokemon Silver version, and the first time I actually

understood what I was doing, I chose Totodile as my starter.

It ended up being the only Pokemon I used throughout the playthrough, and by the time

I completed as much as I knew about, my Feraligatr was level 100.

I remember going through the entire Pokemon league using only my level 100 Feraligatr

with Cut, Strength, Surf, and Ice Punch, and barely taking any damage.

Feraligatr evokes a ton of nostalgia for me, which is why it gets the 10 spot on my list.

9.

Volcarona is a Pokemon that proved its worth for me time and time again in the sixth generation

of Pokemon.

When looking for Pokemon to add to a team in X and Y, I decided to give Volcarona a

shot.

I wasn't expecting too much, which might be why I was so shocked that it was so good.

Ever since I added it to my team over 3 years ago, I knew it would continue to be a favorite

of mine, and I'll always use Volcarona when I have the chance.

8.

Generation 4 had some amazing Pokemon, and one of them is Staraptor.

I played Pokemon Diamond version when I was in 4th and 5th grade, and of course, I had

to use the early bird Pokemon of the new generation.

I was thoroughly impressed with Staraptor, and it has definitely become my favorite generational

bird.

From its awesome design, to its amazing battle potential, there are so many things I can

point to as to why Staraptor is one of my favorites, and it's a must have for any

generation 4 playthrough.

7.

Another generation 4 Pokemon making it on this list, Lucario has made a ton of great

memories for me.

The Pokemon movie: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew has got to be one of my favorites of

all time, and it inspired me to use Lucario in my copy of Pokemon Diamond.

I remember finding Riley on Iron Island, raising that Riolu egg into a powerful Lucario, and

it quickly grew into one of my favorite Pokemon.

I don't really know what it is about Lucario that made me like it in the first place, but

it remains one of my favorites even now.

6.

Greninja didn't start out as one of my favorites, but it slowly grew into my favorite Kalos

Pokemon.

When X and Y first came out, I picked Froakie as my starter with the intention of using

the event Torchic instead.

However, I ended up using Froakie more, and it grew on me so much.

Then when I found out how good it was in battle with its hidden ability, I absolutely fell

in love with the Pokemon.

Greninja is a beast in every form of Pokemon battling, and it has an amazing design to

go along with it.

It's no wonder it grew on me so much.

5.

Starting the top 5, Blaziken makes its way onto the list.

Blaziken is definitely my favorite starter Pokemon because of the experiences I had with

it in generation 3.

When Pokemon Ruby came out, I was 7 years old, and for whatever reason, 7 year old me

chose Torchic to start my game.

That Torchic evolved into a Combusken, and I began to regret my decision to choose it,

but I waited it out and got to the majestic Blaziken.

Blaziken's design is phenomenal, and it's no slouch in battle either.

Blaziken's signature move, Blaze Kick, is also my favorite move of all time, and it

has been a big part of my Pokemon journeys ever since.

4.

Another gen 3 Pokemon, Groudon, is my favorite legendary Pokemon.

When I was younger, all I wanted to do was use the strongest Pokemon possible, and of

course, that led me to use Groudon in Pokemon Ruby.

It was the first Pokemon I got to level 100 in the game, and it became a big part of my

team, not only in Ruby, but also in Pokemon Leaf Green.

I ended up trading it over after beating Leaf Green, and it was part of the first full team

of Pokemon I ever used.

Groudon will always have a special spot in my all time list, and I'm glad to use it

even if it's a legendary.

3.

Aerodactyl has always been a Pokemon I liked, but it didn't become one of my favorites

until Pokemon Soul Silver.

For whatever reason, I decided to stick with Soul Silver until X and Y came out, and around

2012, I was getting into the competitive side of Pokemon.

At that time, I was looking for a strong, fast, physical sweeper, and Aerodactyl jumped

off the page.

Aerodactyl exceeded all expectations, and it is a Pokemon I use as much as I can.

The design and the battle ability combined are both major reason why Aerodactyl became

my third favorite Pokemon.

2.

Just like Aerodactyl, I didn't have any attachment to Starmie until I was playing

Soul Silver.

Like I said, 2012 was when I first got into competitive Pokemon, and Starmie is the first

Pokemon I decided to use my new knowledge on.

I bred hundreds of Staryu eggs until I got the perfect one, and then I went on the tiresome

journey of EV training a Pokemon in generation 4, but the grind was totally worth it.

I wouldn't trade the experience for anything, and because of it, Starmie has become one

of my favorite Pokemon of all time.

1 . You probably saw this coming, but Victreebel and its evolutionary line are my favorite

Pokemon ever.

So here's the story: I had been playing Pokemon for 11 years, and I still yet to find

a shiny.

I was playing Pokemon Soul Silver, running down Route 32, when I encountered a level

6 shiny Bellsprout.

Never in my life had I been so excited.

I already liked Bellsprout prior to getting the shiny, and I trained it up to a level

100 Victreebel that has been transferred up to Sun and Moon.

Even though it might not be the best in battle, the memory of finding my first shiny Pokemon

pushes Bellsprout and its evolutions to my favorite Pokemon.

And that's it for my list.

If you enjoyed, be sure to subscribe for more and leave a like to support the video.

KODI on Affordable and Powerful Raspberry Pi, Probably the Best solutions for KODI under $50 !! - Duration: 25:58.

hey guys our speaker and well today I

want to talk to you about a different

country solution one that we hardly ever

talk about we usually talk about this

one

the fire stick is being the least

expensive way to get into Cody it is an

excellent way if you have amazon prime

if you don't this one may even be better

i was talking to a buddy of mine that I

went to school with years and years ago

and he wanted to know what box should be

in protein that you have amazon prime

and he said no do I need it I said

actually no you don't you could get one

of these it's a raspberry pi and as it

turns out he already had one so

raspberry PI's are great little project

boards and as it turns out there's two

great bills for Cody that already exists

for them they run incredibly well in

this little box this box is so

ubiquitous there's a number of nice

cases out there it just fits look at

this it's just his machine for this just

looks like this there's no tomorrow

I got port covers just snap on

beautifully well-made case scenario that

covers for the GPIO pins if you can use

one of these boxes for anything

talk about a solid solution look you put

your operating systems on here they

couldn't be easier i have one in here

and they said there's two different

bills this is also a build go from one

to the other you pull them out plus the

man boo to him now how do you get it a

remote for this show you exactly how to

do that here it has built-in Wi-Fi

couldn't be much easier foreign keys

abuse just may be the simplest way to

get in Saudi alright is already building

and I just plug in a keyboard like that

they're not even had to slow this down

just going to back out a bit 2003 there

it's already booted into Cody look at

this here's my remote now works with all

tight my network drive have access to

all my movies was all right here I've

access to my music walk if they don't

have it loaded on the

regular one it'll even work with TV

tuners all of that this has got to be

the simplest way there's no side loading

of anything it just runs beautiful

let me show you how easy it is to make

put the operating system on the card

like this from their website really

couldn't be much easier they talk about

future proof we just unplug this pull

out the card plug in the other one now

that was will build called osm see i

really like it you can skin it two

different ways

let's see here's another 10 already

booting this is libra lek look at it

running cool 17 already this is pretty

neat as you can see works with the same

remote this has got to be the obvious

way to get into Cote and one of the

least expensive the fact that you don't

have to pay for prime makes this the

least expensive way to get into cody and

i think a really neat way to do it as

well let me show you how it is to put on

the operating system i'll see you at my

pc hey guys this is peter and my desktop

let me show you how easy it is to set up

the Raspberry Pi with one of these

images it really is easier than you

think so just open up a web browser and

goto Raspberry Pi daughter works it's

that easy you get a landing page like

this just click here on downloads now

that these are all images little boot on

the Raspberry Pi raspiness very famous

and so are these two uh-oh smc is just

Cody and so is libra let of elec it's

just enough OS for Cody so these run

incredibly well on the Raspberry Pi

let's start with this one

osm see look it takes me to their

website and if you click on download you

just choose what you have

well we have a raspberry pi 3 in my case

and I'm going to be installing it from

windows there we go

and it's already downloading that

and it's already done showing folder

there we are

here's the OS NC installer as you can

see of instruction or downloaded before

but here's today's date so that's the

right one

I've double-clicking on it and they look

click it always put something behind

there we go now all it's going to do is

ask you what language and chickens

choosing English what would you like to

install the OS MC on well I want to

start on the raspberry pi 3

that's all I want to know a selective

version i'm going to select the latest

version this is from december uh that's

it hit enter

where am I going to put it well i'm

going to put it on a SD card done i'm

using a wireless connection and i can go

ahead and select a what kind of network

connection i have you could also do this

when you get to your pc but let's just

make it super easy

there we go i want to put it to my g

drive right now I just accept the

end-user license agreement and off we go

going to download it set up your card

for you all you gotta do is boot to it

it doesn't get much simpler than that

now you could go ahead and set up the

partition so that it's a proper size you

can make the used to arrest use of the

rest of the card and that's not a bad

idea what i'm going to do is just get it

up and going quick and easy and i

actually use the USB ports and mine as

drive for all the extra storage so it

doesn't really matter here

all right just like that it is done

extracting boom

are you sure you want to install OS MC

on the device you've selected a good

question

sure

good the correct drivers thinking that's

always a moment where you wonder

hey what's going on

boom done is that easy now all i'm going

to do is remove it go plug it in my

raspberry pi

well here i am in front of my TV set

I'm going to take that card was just

created on my pc plug it in and give

this device to power their already

booting now the first time boot it takes

a little bit longer going to set some

stuff up there we go

so those little scanlines you see are in

order to fact of my my camera setting

they don't actually exist here want to

go ahead and change the exposure down a

little bit you can get to minimize those

lives right now the screen is actually

brighter than this but you've got rid of

those lines

all right here we go

it's installing files look at all i had

to do was follow the directions and

simply tell it what I had it where it

was going and its really doing all the

other work far as sideloading and

downloading programs and all of that you

have to do with the Amazon fire stick

you really don't have to do that with

this it just boots it it's pretty simple

our university at the moniker up euro

smc the end looks a little bit funny if

you look at it carefully

it's actually a pie for raspberry pi it

has built into the am

now this process just take a few minutes

it's probably taken about who can take

four minutes or so was taken about three

minutes so far I'm just guesstimating

that but you know it seems that little

bit slow but then again its hands off so

it's really just sitting here and

waiting and again we're talking about

under five minutes

alright so it's installed now imagine is

going to blink and then boot to it

there you go as predicting the blink and

I could see some food checks going

beyond beyond find it in the upper

left-hand corner there we go

this screen happened in the earlier

version to it doesn't like my TV

I think this particular TV in the garage

is 768 bad cheesy and you know what

it works beautifully with this haha

alright so here's what I'm going to show

you how to do on this osm see this is

your ear user interface we can actually

go and change this let me go into

settings during the welcome screen time

i'm going to choose to store fine for

english makes little distinction and now

this is the timezone this is tricky i'm

in august and want the Americans is loud

now I usually have to find Los Angeles

even though i'm not in los angeles on

the shape i'm not going to fight it and

that so there's my name

osm see great lets a suggestion Randy

name originals

why not let's go ahead and see full

device in my network

I don't want that don't want other

people to have it so I didn't know what

to do it that I'm gonna leave it off for

now this is a well it looks like an

end-user license agreement want to

continue and now i'm all set up so i'm

going to choose this is the OS MC

interface it looks quite good it looks

capable it looks more a king to what

they're doing with 17 but for now

I want to stick with the classic this is

called confluence and it's the coating

that I'm used to going to stick with

that but i I've already receive this

newsletter so many times that i'm just

going to say no that's it enjoy

there we go guys I can't get much easier

than that

look at now we're just dealing with Cody

I'm going to exit this to show you

should always extra gratefully by the

way it remembers the settings

okay now shut down and now it's going to

reboot

haha look at that it's just boot nicely

into coding now if you're going to set

it up exactly the same way you would

you'll notice that there's still a file

manager you can add in the same file

manager of shortcuts that you have

there's a new setting it's called my OS

MC and if your Wi-Fi wasn't working for

example you go right here and set up

your Wi-Fi so he wired is unable

wireless is looks like it's working

yeah everything's connected it looks

like it's using my my network everything

set up find your list already has

built-in Bluetooth this is quite a

capable little machine while you also

can set up all sorts of other things

like remote i'm just using this remote

it works beautifully know what i like

about this when it comes to typing

distinct shapes incredibly well I look

at this I can even worse that button

right there

its back with two so i have a trackpad

built into it that work with this not

just doesn't know that has tracked it

okay there is no mouth function built

into this version which is flying so

setting it up simple you're going to

show you a simple setup everyone asked

about my TV to TV tuner is great i'm

just going to go and find it on my

network i have a whole video on tv

tuners it's going to look for a PBR

software say you don't have any shots

fine i'm going to pick 10 first time you

cook i have the hdhomerun I think it's

excellent i'm simply going to enable

that check for an update real quick all

right now here's something important

it's not a steel erection using

everything

see I don't see a TV button so everyone

writes music didn't see it

well here let's go back to study go back

to TV let's disable what we've enabled

and re-enable it now that it has the PVR

going to go through look at that found

everything

long as your backpack look at that I

just configured a TV tuner type all

these different channels

I'm going to go and take a look at just

some of them instead of all channels i

want to look at just my hg channels here

we go there is a icebox my local file

what's next financial guidance while

you're mastering like oh she's so you

can

it looks beautiful by the way so a

channel seven channel 5 channel for all

my berry channels on Chris this is my

greatest this is utah one that looks

pretty beautiful

alright guys well that's how easy it is

to configure one of these raspberry PI's

really an unsung hero for Cody you can

do this inexpensively you don't need to

get amazon prime like you do with the

fire stick you can do it all yourself

and this will always be a raspberry pi

hey guys if you don't mind I'm gonna

show you the other one libra like it's

also done an amazing job this is always

look promising but finally it looks you

feeling really good

so again I'm just going to do a simple

setup I like this new tool they call it

a libra select USB SD creator and all

you have to do is download this little

thing click download

I wanted for windows look at it i've

already downloaded it but it should

download again

there it is downloading again there is

already done and it's a show in folder

you're going to like this one I think

all right in saying that my my G Drive

which i just plugged in the card and it

needs some recommended fixing all right

let's see what it's talking about

here's what I'm gonna put a link down

below its a SD card for matter i'm going

to do shit this up and say let's take

that D Drive let's refresh it

let's go out and maximize its want to

format adjusted sighs let's get the

whole card back there quick fine go

ahead and hit that up refresh format

there we go now it's 16 gig card again

all right now what I'm going to do

alright here's the new tool take a look

at this it's called Lieber alack and it

all it wants to do this just to step

simple what version do I want well I can

make it for the Oh droid and we've

worked with your droid before the old

droid wonderful piece of hardware

doesn't have built-in Wi-Fi but you know

it's great solution provides all sorts

of things and you can even set this up

for it that way

raspberry pi 3 is what i have now that

looks like the right image to download

that image and it wants me to point it

to it like haha okay look at that it

just wanted me to select the folder easy

enough i put it in the folder called in

here

yeah that's a horrible name just as far

as you know i mean just to just too

great myself on that i gave myself an F

because in the future i'll be like in

here

yeah great download complete checksum ok

that's all good things for an engineer

to hear so you want to know where I want

to put it i want to put it on my g dr

it's about 16 gigs

that's fine now if you wanted to really

do this well you partition it

appropriately read what how big that

partition needs to be because you want

to use the rest of your card

I kind of like making the partition

bigger I really running is my extra

storage elsewhere by leaving a larger

partition you give it to some chance to

of to stay healthy

alright so here we go ahead and write

that image

are you sure yeah I'm sure where this is

giving me a nice little countdown it

takes is going to take 30 seconds

that would be nice

you can see this image size were already

at fifty percent and 25 gigs so it's

going to be a 48 gig image before you

hate megabyte image this is crazy small

so you know oftentimes we talk about

boxes being too small you know hey you

need to gigs you need a minimum of this

when you're in a linux environment where

the programmers have paid attention to

the environment they're in and they can

write some super tight code already done

i'm just going to hit close

well i'm going to meet you over the box

over there at the television and let's

plug this in and see how it works

alright we're back now with a different

image in hand or on finger it's actually

not even add it's too small i'm going to

their I'm still running my old image

there comes back to life

you should always exit gracefully that's

how all your favorites can remember

accessories etc this is my old version

it's shutting down

there is already shutdown was rebooting

alright so there's my old image want to

keep that special this is my new image

this is the osm see this is the open

your lack of the plug power back into

this grab my remote help my screen up

with that we could leave relax sorry

openelec is something completely

different very similar but totally

different

I recognize that all right so we were

elected a nice job

it's open screen was great this is first

time boot and not a good messaging of up

on top you can see this what it's doing

obviously it's done rebooting you faster

this seems to be nice

this is simply it out just usually what

i wanted to be called want to pick a

network connect to it this is actually

beautiful and with my keyboard it makes

it so easy to do

configuration association and come on

done look at that little IP address so i

know only just the way it is it next

next

look at this we've just rooted in

decotis it looks beautiful fix the

screen amazingly well you're going to do

what I did last time show you how

quickly it backwards second this is

what's different because it's the

operating system this window is

different just like we saw in the USMC

it's at Mile osm see these are the

settings these are the actual device

settings that were necessary in order to

make the solo so in the future if you

have any problems with your network

there you are your system of imagine if

you have problems with the screen or

Bluetooth it's all here let's go back

and see how quickly instead of my people

shot while my TV tuner appearance up the

appearance of different with a different

show TV enable no PBR lookout fases

enables no PBR ok

hi if you just guide you there

interesting

ok so that's interesting it's not built

in which is ok you know what I'm going

to go ahead and add some real photos

into fights and stuff here let's go to

system we go give your clients gonna

show y'all looking giving up on this I

never give up

just got to keep plugging away i want to

install this more than just enabling it

i'm actually installing at this time I'm

going to go in and enable it so it

already has enabled make sure you have

the latest version haha alright now

let's go back to the TV monster just

showing me I don't give up TV general

anything I hoping it does work and I

don't have to give up

ok that looked good I thought double

flash it might actually be here

there it is if not I would disable and

reenable it but here's all my channels

it's already set up boom

who is she has an all changed most ok no

problem i guess i can separate them to

eat vegan and and others by myself here

slots which is an h2 your ability to my

properties

maybe there are some circumstances where

we expand that that's what that was in

720 feeling

look at this I think channel 5 comes in

1080p what you need to see judge judy

and 1080 amazon truck and sake or your

investigation

judge judy into any effects hey guys

that's it

the raspberry pi really should be looked

at in fact that's what I just

recommended to a friend of mine so

that's what i recommend to you thanks

again guys for watching

we'll talk to you soon sure to LIKE

subscribe favorite
