Hello everyone and welcome to my channel! My name is Dayanira, but in English
they call me Day because it's very hard to say my name in English. So you guys
can call me "Dia" because Day in English is "Dia" in Spanish.
So call me Day if you want to! Okay, this video is very special for me because it is the first time that I will be
talking in Spanish because as you guys already know, or don't know, I am Puerto Rican and
all of my videos before this one I only talk in English, and I thought, most of my subscribers
come from Chile or Mexico, or places in which only Spanish is spoken.
So I thought it would be real special if I dedicate this video to only talking Spanish.
So I'm going to start off by saying, "forgive me" because my Spanish is not good.
But I'm going to try and I know that little by little my Spanish will get better. So,
this video is dedicated to all of you guys who are my subscribers that live in places that only speak Spanish.
Well, as you guys see, this makeup look was inspired by a watermelon.
So I'm going to start. Let's start now!
I'm going to put this on to take the hair out of my face.

My shirt. I have pajamas on. But I'm going to change after this.
Okay, now that my hair is out of my face I want to start off by saying that I don't put foundation on my face.
So I'm going to apply this gel moisturizer
Only a little bit.
Look, just this little bit.
And that's because I washed my face and now my face is a little dry.
During the summer I love to apply gel moisturizer because my face doesn't
get greasy, but during the winter
I like to put on moisturizer that has a lot of...
Ugh, I dont know how to say it in Spanish. "Moist?" Like it's heavier on the face.
Forgive me! Little by little I'll get better. Little by little I'll be able to properly speak Spanish.
Oh, also you're going to realize that my face will get red. I don't know why, but when I touch my face
It always gets really red.
I don't know, I think I have sensitive skin. But little by little the redness will disappear.
Okay. I also love to apply something on my lips so that they don't feel dry.
This is the Hanalei Lip Treatment
and it works very well.
Okay, so there it is. And now we are going to apply eye primer for our eyes.
All of the products that I'm using, I will write in the description box below.

and I like it a lot because it works and it's genius. I love it. My eyes get very greasy during the day,
but when I use this eye shadow primer, my makeup is still perfect by the end of the day. And that's why
I love it.
Okay, so I applied the eye primer and now I'm going to wait for it to dry.
But while that is drying I'm going to put on this eye brow pencil, which makes you look
younger when you use a brown color, so that's why I love it a lot.
Sorry, my eyebrows look a bit weird. I'm going to get them fixed, but for this video I couldn't.
So we're going to have to continue with my eyebrows that look like this.
It doesn't look bad, but it just looks a bit, "Ooooh,"
And like I always say in all my videos,
"Your eyebrows are not twins, they're sisters." So, they won't be identical, so it's okay...
if they are not.
So now we are going to start with the eye look, the makeup for the eyes.
I'm going to use this palette, that I already have a video in which I tell you if the palette is great or not.
And it's the Fem Rosa Palette that Karrueche did with Colourpop.
And we're going to use this bottom shade that is like a pink shade and it's called
Duchess. I'm only going to apply it here as as a transition shade. And I'm going to use this brush for my eyes.
So, let's start.
And now I'm going to take this blending brush. Sorry, I don't know how to say it in Spanish.
But I'm going to take it and smoke out my eyes.
Okay. And now that we're finished with this color,
I'm going to put this palette back.
And now we're going to go in with this lime green shade and we're going to apply this shade only in the middle of our lids.
This eye shadow is from Colourpop and it's called "Fizz." I like it.
This shade is going to make the eye makeup appear like a watermelon.
I'm going to go in with my finger
and I'm going to apply it this way.
Only in the middle.
I love this shade because it has a lot of shimmer. And it looks really nice when
you are walking and the sun hits you in the face you can see the shimmer. And if you guys are questioning why my Spanish isn't good.
It's because, yes I am Puerto Rican, I was born in Puerto Rico, but all my life
I was raised in the United States where I currently live. So, I forget a lot of the words, but I can read it and write it.
Okay, and now that we finished with this shade, we are going to go in with another shade that's called "Animal."
And it's a pink shade.
It also has a lot of shimmer.
And we're going to apply this shade here and
also in the inner corners of our eyes
I'm also going to apply this shade with my finger because that's how these shades apply best.
And now that we are finished with this color I'm going to go in again with this shade
that's pink.
And I'm going to go in on my eyes again to blend everything out.
Look how pretty it's getting.
And now we're going to go in with this pencil liner.
It's in the color brown because as I already mentioned earlier,
brown makes you look younger, so I'm going to apply it on the upper and lower lashes.
I like to put eyeliner
on my upper waterline because it makes my eyes appear bigger.
Like, "I'm right here! I'm alive!" And I like it. You can already see the difference.

Okay, and now that we're finished with the eyeliner
At the bottom of our lower lashes we are going to go in again with this lime green and basically
we're going to repeat everything we did on our eyelids to the bottom of our lashes.
So, once again, this shade in the middle and then the pink shade on the outer and inner corners of our eyes.
And now I'm going to take this brush and apply both shades
to mix the colors.
To further add definition.
And there it is.
This is the eye look.
We're going to use this eyelash curler. This eyelash curler is from E.l.f.
I think that it only cost me $2, but it works very well.
And there it is. And now to complete the eyes, we are going to apply this mascara that's also from E.l.f. in the shade Black.
And now we finished applying our mascara. So now I'm going to apply a liquid lipstick.
And it's also in a pink shade. This is from Jeffree Star in the shade
"Rose Matter." I love this color and...
it smells so good.
And that's it! This is the look that was inspired by a watermelon.
Let me take this off because I look really weird.
