with a top five and I'm just so excited
because i haven't done one in a while
I've been doing a lot of other things
you guys but today its top five day and
i'm going to show you my top five
drugstore foundations there's something
for all of you I thought about all of
you
i'm going to show you very cheap
foundations and then I'm going to work
my way up to more more expensive
drugstore foundations basically so from
cheap to a little bit more expensive and
all the foundations that i'm going to show you all do
different things
disclaimer i did not include my to 2B CC
cream or my 2B illuminating
correcting cream because those are
favourites always and ever and always
so I left them out so i have completely
different products for you okay before
we start I just wanted to do a little
announcement as well i will be uploading
two videos next week
yes twoo i will be uploading one on
Tuesday and then i will be uploading one
on Saturday as usual so my Tuesday video
is actually a collaboration that I am
doing with Wunderbrow I have featured
their products in a couple of my videos
and I really enjoy their semi
permanent eyebrow gel I think it's
amazing so Wunderbow France asked me if
I wanted to do a video for them using
their product and I said yes so that
video will be in French (but with english subs) it's only three
minutes long i also have my hair down
and yes I would really appreciate it if
you girls would go and check it out
because for one you're gonna hear me
speaking French i am fluent in French
Italian English and Dutch not perfect but
fluent i am not being paid or anything
this is something that I did for fun I
thought it was really cool and I've
always wanted to do a video in another

toh all of these foundations because
we're all about that base bout that base
no trouble
let's get onto the video ok so for the
first product of my top 5 I actually
couldn't choose between an Essence
foundation and an NYC foundation I know
shocking right but they're both really
affordable I like them a lot and a lot
of you have been asking me Jolien do you
still like the Essence Camouflage foundation
yes so i thought i should mention this
foundation in this video because this is
a really great foundation from Essence
it's very full coverage it only retails for
€3.89 it's very smooth and this is the
perfect foundation for those of you who
have a very pale complexion so I purchased
this is the shade 10 ivory beige and this
is too light for me but it's an awesome
formula
yes i still use it and yes i still
recommend it then the other foundation
that I have that is also on the number
one spot we technically have six
foundations now but let's just pretend
we just have five is the NYC get it all
stick foundation i did a first
impression on this and a lot of you were
not interested well honey boo boo's you
all missed out because this is an
awesome foundation it's the perfect
back-to-school foundation because it
makes your skin look really luminous but
it's very light coverage you can build
it up if you want to but it looks
gorgeous
if you wear this i think a lot of people
will not even notice that you're wearing
foundation which is great and I really
like the formula is super smooth really
easy to blend i will link my first
impression down below because my face
was like oh my god
and this weekend for €3.99 super
affordable so yeah these two are the
number one of my top five
it's not like they're my number-one
foundations but they're just number one
of the top five I am so confusing today
anyway
these two are awesome and they're super
affordable the next foundation that i
have is KIKO universal fit
hydrating foundation i have it in the shade
warm beige and the reason why i like to
so much is because this reminds me of
the 2B CC cream that I like so much so
if you can't get the 2B CC cream where
you live you can always purchase this
they have an enormous amount of shade i
believe they have over 20 shades at
least available online maybe not in the
shop but online over 20 shades which is just
mind-blowing if you ask me and it's a
very nice basic life to medium coverage
foundation this is the foundation that
i'm wearing right now and you can also
see me work with this in my last
GRWM video i will link it down
below this color is a little too dark
for me so I did mix it with some
Catrice make up transformer drops in
that video and it works really well
the only issue that i have with this
foundation is that it tends to get into
find lines so a primer is an absolute
must I have also reviewed this on my blog I
think it's pretty awesome
it's super affordable and i have no clue
that KIKO actually had such a
budget-friendly foundation available in
their stash they have been raising their
prices so i have not been shopping a lot
at their store but when one of you told
me about this I was like oh my god yes
all right now we have a Catrice
foundation and I know I don't talk a lot
of about Catrice foundations on my channel
because i think their foundations are
always very dry and patchy and they
oxidise but there is one gem in
their collection that you need to know
about it was launched last year and it is
the HD liquid coverage foundation
24-hour mattifying second skin effect
this one retails for €6.99 again super
affordable and mine in the shade 010
Light Beige and this foundation is
unlike any of the other foundations
in the Catrice Cosmetics display it's a
really thin formula but it's full
coverage and it's insane it's really
smooth it blends very well for me this
formula is still a little dry but if your
oilier than me I think you're going
to love this to me it's all about
foundations with potential and it's not
because something doesn't work perfectly
for me that it's not going to work
perfectly for you i think this
foundation is amazing it's a huge
improvement for Catrice and I think they
should play around with more formula
like this so many of you have been
letting me know that you went from like
an Estee Lauder
foundation to this which is just amazing
so it pretty much is almost like a
high-end foundation ok now we're going
to take a little bit of a jump in price
I don't have a foundation around the €10
mark that i can recommend to
you
I do however have on for €12.49 which is the
Maybelline Fit Me Luminous + Smooth foundation
i do know that they have the Maybelline Fit Me
matte and poreless that retails for €9.99 so
if you have oily skin that could
definitely be something that you can
look into but for me right now it's all
about the luminous and smooth i believe
that it's called luminous + dewy in
the US and this foundation has just been
everything for me because the winter
weather has been very harsh on my skin
has been breaking out a lot have been
much drier than usual and I've had a lot
of trouble with foundation settling into
fine lines and this just fixes all of
those problems for me the formula is so
smooth it's medium to full coverage so
you can choose whether you just want a
little bit of like an extra oomph or you
want to go all the way you want to be
glam you want to look fabulous
it's just great i was always convinced
that dewy foundations would never dry
down and they would cause a lot of
transfer if you have combination skin
like me so and oily t-zone and dry on the
rest of the face but this doesn't do
that at all which is awesome this
foundation makes me glow from the inside
out and i love it
voila we have come to the last foundation
of my top five that i recommend and that
you have to try this one is a little bit
of a tricky one because i love it a lot
but i have finished this in like three
to four weeks which I know a lot of you
need your foundation to laugh maybe two
to three months
this is the L'Oreal Nude Magique Cushion
foundation it is my second repurchase
this one retails for €17.99 which is
definitely out there considering this
foundation does not contain as much
product at a regular foundation
if you're not familiar with the cushion
foundation concept is basically is a
foundation in a cushion form and I have
it in the shade 03 which is the second
lightest shade here in Belgium and the
reason why I find this foundation so
awesome is because it's travel-friendly
it's the no-fuss foundation and when I
applied it on my skin is super easy i
would recommend this to those of you
that don't wear a lot of makeup but when
you want to wear makeup and you want to
look flawless
this is the perfect foundation i love
this i think the effect is absolutely
amazing
if you've never tried cushion products
before try it I can't wait to try the one
from Maybelline it has not arrived in
our drugstores yet but I'm excited so
yes this is my last drugstore foundation
that i recommend to you and as I said I have
something different for everyone and
this is for the kind of girl that likes fast
easy and travel friendly make up
tadaaaaaaa these are all my favorite drugstore
foundations i really hope you girls
