Is God Wrathful? - Duration: 3:31.

Is God wrathful? Well, there are aspects of God's nature that make people

uncomfortable. God's wrath is one of them. In fact, fewer and fewer churches

nowadays will openly preach about the wrath of God. The topic is taboo to our

modern sensibilities. While some ignore the biblical teaching of God's wrath,

others will just flat-out deny it. The problem is, there are more than 600

references of divine wrath in Scripture. The doctrine of God's wrath against the

wicked is clearly taught throughout the Bible. Listen to how the prophet Nahum

describes God's wrath against Nineveh. It says this: "The Lord is a jealous and

avenging God; the Lord is avenging and wrathful; the Lord takes vengeance on his

adversaries and keeps wrath for his enemies. The Lord is slow to anger and

great in power, and the Lord will by no means clear the guilty. Who can stand

before his indignation? Who could endure the heat of his anger? His wrath is

poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken into pieces by him. The Lord is

good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.

But with an overflowing flood he will make a complete end to his adversaries,

and will pursue his enemies into darkness." I cited this lengthy passage

for a reason. Most people are happy to quote verses like, "the Lord is slow to

anger," verse 3, and, "the Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble," verse 7,

yet they ignore verses like, "the Lord is an avenging and wrathful God," verse 2, and,

"his wrath is poured out like fire," verse 6. They want to take the former but leave

the latter. However, the minor prophet won't allow it. God's goodness and wrath

are inseparably interwoven within the same text. Many people have the mistaken

impression that the character of God is split in the Bible. The God of the Old

Testament is angry and wrathful. The God of the New Testament is gracious and

merciful. This simply isn't true, and I can prove it to

you. Not only does Nahum's own words allude to God's goodness and mercy in

verse 7, but Nahum's audience was well aware of God's goodness. Nahum is

writing to the Ninevites. These are the same Ninevites whom God sent Jonah. These

are the same wicked people who had repented and received mercy from God. In

response to God sparing Nineveh, Jonah says this: "For I knew that you are a

gracious God and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and

relenting from disaster." So over a century has passed since Jonah's oracle,

and the Ninevites have turned back to their wicked ways. Now these people who

have received God's mercy are going to receive God's wrath. The tragic history

of the Ninevites displays two aspects of God's nature, and both are equally true.

God is gracious and merciful, but He is also avenging and wrathful. Sound

theology never pits one against the other.

Is Bitcoin Mining Still Profitable in 2018? | What is PoW? - Duration: 5:18.

Hello to everyone

Is mining about to over?

And why is mining gets harder?

Also, I will talk about PoW -proof of work-

I will be simple and easy for everyone.

You can ask me anything in the comment section.

please subscribe and like the video

let's start!

Bitcoin is a software program.

and uses Blockchain technology.

Blockchain is a decentralized network.

In Bitcoin mining,

miners solves blocks and adds transactions on it.

It is a very simple definition.

You can check out the new blocks on blockchain.com

I click one of them

Block reward is 12.5 BTC

These are the transactions that are added.

Miners are connected with each other.

A new block is mined every 10 minutes.

With time, new miners are involved in the system,

that makes harder to solve a block for the miner.

All of them depends on SHA-256 algorithm.

If you want to mine Bitcoins, your computer's CPU probably will not be enough.

You will need to buy an ASIC.

However, these are very expensive devices,

and it uses too much electricity.

If you get profit from mining, please leave a comment.

Bitcoin is designed to have a maximum supply of 21 million

Almost 17 million of Bitcoin is on circulation.

Mining is very costly and difficult.

In summary,

Miners tries to solve new blocks on Blockchain.

They are rewarded if they succeed.

Miners also receive the transfer fees.

If all Bitcoins are mined, the mining devices will only receive the transfer fees.

The name of this algorithm is PoW. (Proof of Work)

I will also talk about PoS in future videos.

I hope you do not get confused.

In fact this algorithm is the basis of Bitcoin and many other altcoins.

Please share the video.

I hope you enjoyed it.

Goodbye

Is Meghan Markle's First Name? - Meghan Isn't The Suits Actress Real First Name - Duration: 2:07.

Meghan Markle has been at the center of the media's attention since she started dating

Prince Harry.

Now that the couple has announced their engagement, the public's interest in Markle is at an all-time

high.

As people learn more about her, they might be surprised to find out that Meghan isn't

the "Suits" actress' real first name.

The 36-year-old was, in fact, born with the name Rachel Meghan Markle, but she goes by

her middle name instead.

Markle's first name isn't exactly a secret.

Her real name shows up on her IMDb page, where her bio says she "was born on August 4, 1981

in Los Angeles, California, USA as Rachel Meghan Markle."

Though this information has been publicly available, most people (including us) had

no idea Meghan wasn't her first name.

Back in May, when Markle and Harry were dating, the internet became obsessed over this previously

little-known fact about her.

At the time, people on Twitter speculated which name Markle would go by if she and Prince

Harry got married, while "Suits" fans freaked out over the fact that Rachel is the same

name as her character on the USA Network show.

However, Markle won't share her real name with her character on "Suits" for much longer.

As Us Weekly reported, she will be leaving the show after season seven.

Regardless, whatever first name Markle will use, now that she will she marry Prince Harry,

she will probably have the title of the Duchess of Sussex.

And while we have no idea what her fiancé calls her in private, as Business Insider

UK points out, Harry also doesn't go by his "real" name.

His first name is actually Henry, not Harry.

So, Meghan and Harry could also be called Rachel and Henry ... which sounds much less

exciting.

Trump's Debt Increase is Half Obama's Debt Increase at Same Time in Their Respective Presidencies - Duration: 3:52.

President Trump's Debt Increase is Half Obama's Debt Increase at

Same Time in Their Respective Presidencies In spite of the fact that President Trump

took over with nearly $20 trillion of debt and the related interest payments on the debt,

and in spite of the Federal Reserve (FED) increasing interest rates by a full one percent

since the 2016 election, President Donald Trump's debt is half that of Obama's.

The US Debt since President Trump was inaugurated on January 20th, 2016 through March 1, 2018,

increased by $927 billion.

On inauguration day the debt was at $19.9 trillion and on March 1, 2018 the debt stood

at $20.8 trillion.

Although $927 billion is a lot of money added to the debt, it is half of what President

Obama added during the same time frame in his first year plus in office.Where President

Trump increased the Debt to date by only 4.6% , Obama increased the debt by 17.7% or 13.1%

more than President Trump.

President Obama inherited a US Debt amount of $10.6 trillion on his inauguration and

increased it by almost $1.9 trillion by March 1, 2010.

Obama increased the US Debt amount by $954 billion more than President Trump in the same

respective time in office.

In addition, President Trump has been able to limit the amount of new debt in spite of

the massive increase in debt from Obama ($10 trillion) and the rising interest rates initiated

by the Fed.Right after Barack Obama was elected President, on December 16, 2008, the Federal

Reserve (The Fed) lowered the Fed Funds rate by an entire percent, from 1% down to 0% . The

Fed had not lowered the Fed Funds rate by such a large amount (1% ) since at least before

1990, if ever.

The Fed kept this 0% rate for most of Obama's eight years in office.

CNBC reported in December 2015 that President Obama oversaw "seven years of the most accommodative

monetary policy in U.S. history" (from the Fed).

The Fed Funds rate was at zero for most of Obama's time in office.

Finally, in December 2015 the Fed announced its first increase in the Fed Funds rate during

the Obama Presidency.

The only Fed Funds Rate increases since 2015 were after President Trump was elected President.

The Fed increased the Fed Funds Rate on December 14, 2016, March 15th, 2017, June 14, 2017

and again on December 13, 2017.

Four times the Fed has increased rates on President Trump after doing so only once on

President Obama late in his 2nd term.Increases in the Fed Funds Rate increase the cost of

borrowing.

With $20 trillion in debt, a 1% increase in interest payments equals $200 billion in annual

interest payment increases.

President Obama benefited from the lowest possible interest rates possible for most

of his eight years and in spite of this, nearly doubled the US Debt from $10 trillion to nearly

$20 trillion.

The MSM won't tell you but President Trump has increased the US debt by half of that

of Obama in their first few months in office.

As a result America is moving in the right direction for the first time in at least a

decade.

as it is - A Grand Canyon VR Documentary - Duration: 17:06.

Anything that lies in this Canyon, the Grand Canyon, is all sacred even the water.

Water is life and so water made that life to make that Canyon.

The natural beauty of it right now is still alive. It's still there and that's

where our prayers are going.

The Grand Canyon is among the Earth's premier natural wonders and home to one

of America's most beloved national parks. The Canyon cuts a broad track across

northern Arizona. A mile deep, over 18 miles wide, and 277 miles long, it has

fascinated every human to lay eyes on it for thousands of years.

The national park now serves over six million visitors annually, but each year

only twenty thousand will see it from the bottom up.

A rafting expedition through the Grand Canyon is, for many, a life-changing experience.

It's a journey into vast wilderness, a descent into deep geologic time.

Exposed rocks formed hundreds of millions of years ago pass by as you slip further into the wild

A river trip through Grand Canyon is one of the only places where

you can go and be away from the hubbub of computers and cell phones.

I think spending time rafting on the Colorado River is a great way to connect with

water in a very special and unique way.

Without a motor, a river trip through the Grand Canyon can take as long as three weeks

[yelling, laughing, screaming]

Each day of the trip, the Colorado River throws a variety of the monstrous rapids at you.

"Suck rubber!"

"Here comes another one! Suck rubber!"

Upon his visit to the Grand Canyon in 1903, President Theodore Roosevelt said

"Leave it as it is,

you cannot improve on it.

The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it."

We have marred the Grand Canyon over the last 100 years.

We have not left it as it is.

We made the Grand Canyon a national park in order to protect it, but now a radical

new idea for development threatens the very heart of the canyon.

Developers based in Scottsdale Arizona want to construct a major new tourist attraction

on the eastern rim of the canyon, down into an area known simply as

The Confluence.

"The Confluence is the area in the Grand Canyon where a Little Colorado River

meets the greater Colorado River in the Canyon.

In this space, where the rivers meet, our stories say this is where life began.

This is the emergence place."

"Sometimes I'll be really feeling bad, and I'll go out there sat in the hill and pray.

The Confluence is where people meet to pray, to come together and pray as a family.

I oppose the Escalade bill because we hold that place as a sacred place.

We do our offering there for the sacred sites.

The development, known as the Escalade proposal,

outlines a resort complex centered around a gondola system

that would take crowds of visitors all the way from the rim to the river.

"Grand Canyon Escalade would include five-star motels, a raised riverwalk, an

amphitheater, a restaurant, and a tram, a gondola system going all the way down

into the Grand Canyon at our most sacred area."

Although 20,000 rafters visit the Grand Canyon each year, very few will actually

set foot at The Confluence. The developers of the Escalade proposal plan

to bring 10,000 people a day to this secluded area

The land on the rim of the canyon above the confluence isn't part of the national park.

It's the western edge of the Navajo Reservation.

The developers went to the Navajo Nation Council to get the project

started but the Navajo are not the only

indigenous people with ties to The Confluence.

The Hopi and Zuni tribes also find The Confluence culturally significant.

When somebody passes on, their soul will return back to where The Confluence is at.

In Hopi, they call it Sipapu. That's where they say that your soul will go back to go

back into Mother Earth. If you've never seen a sacred site or a prayer site you

walk right by it or you might even step on it or walk over on top of it.

We don't want those things destroyed. We don't want them disturbed.

"My first thought was that it was a joke.

A Laugh. And then my second thought is: is this a joke?

Angry. And then: this has to be a joke. Sadness. Just great sadness.

And I said: this is a joke. I'm gonna fight it."

In response to the Escalade proposal some of the Navajo families formed a

grassroots organization called Save The Confluence.

Save The Confluence gathered thousands of signatures on a petition against the Escalade proposal

Other communities have rallied behind save the confluence to protect the Grand Canyon,

including the Hopi, Zuni, and Havasupai tribal councils

They are supported by more allies like Grand Canyon National Park, The Sierra Club,

American Rivers, Grand Canyon Trust, and the Grand Canyon River Guides Association,

who are also working to protect and preserve the Canyon.

"I think that the Escalade project would very much alter the place. In ways, it has

already been altered through Glen Canyon Dam, and so, we really want to continue to

find ways to partner with the Native American tribes that call Grand Canyon sacred.

Keeping the river and that experience wilderness is really

important for future people getting to have that opportunity to really

experience The Canyon as it is

"What are the chances that the Grand Canyon Escalade project will be placed

on the side of Grand Canyon?"

"Very real. It's not gone away." "Really?" "Yeah. What I mean, the current Navajo Nation position and

the president is great it's a temporary relief but as we speak the developers

are forming their partnership. They're out searching for the next venue. They're

at every Navajo Nation Council meeting lobbying all of the leadership.

Everybody has to stay vigilant on this topic we are working directly with the tribe for

cultural and economic development that's sensitive, long-term sustainable and

that we can help with that Grand Canyon being the neighbor to the Navajo Nation.

The Escalade proposal was introduced right as the Bennet freeze was lifted.

The Bennet freeze was a development ban imposed by the United States federal

government on 1.6 million acres of land in the western region of the Navajo Reservation.

It lasted over 40 years and contributed to extreme poverty in the area.

"I've been away from my homeland almost 26 years.

Coming home, things hasn't really changed yet. Meaning that opportunity for jobs

there's areas here are novel unemployment's as as high as 60%.

Where I live, down in Nahata Dziil, I call it, 80% joblessness. Our people need money.

They need. They need jobs.

It's not that I'm supporting it.

What I support is economic development on Navajo.

"The revenue that they're willing to give to the Navajo Nation would be at 8% of gross revenue.

That's for the entire Navajo Nation. 110 chapters over 350,000 members of the Navajo Nation

8%. That's like asking your whole household to share eight pennies."

"How do you feel about us coming in with a project? How is it gonna effect you?

Nobody came to me. Is it okay with you? Nobody came to me.

They just went right over that permanent holder. Land user.

On October 31st 2017, the Navajo Nation Council held a special session

to determine the fate of the Grand Canyon Escalade proposal.

"I am here today to express my concerns and why we are trying to destroy

the sacred Mother Earth and the sacred Grand Canyon

that was put here by Mother Nature millions of years ago.

Why are we doing that?

People that are trying to develop this area is not good.

They should listen more to their traditional people.

I'd like to say to the Council here, that these preceedings here is illegal.

Because you have not consulted with the water people.

You have not consulted with the wind people.

You have not consulted with the rock people.

And all of these natural ways of life have never been consulted.

So, this is an illegal meeting that it's going to take place. Thank you, Mr. Speaker.

You know, what is the future of our generation here, you know,

our future generation will have nothing and they will this only have scars to look at"

"By a vote of 2 in favor, 16 opposed, the amendment fails."

"The Navajo Nation Council said No Escalade!"

[screams, celebratory laughter]

"Saving the Confluence!" "No More Escalade!" "We get to sleep now!"

"I was happy with it and I was a good feeling to come back home and tell my

people that happened. I just want that natural beauty to stay there for our

future generation to say okay my grandparents had fought for this place

we just need to keep it the way it is. That's all I want is for people to leave it alone and respect that place."

The Grand Canyon still faces many threats.

A 20-year ban on uranium mining is now under review and might be lifted.

Proposed residential development in the Tusayan region near the South Rim

threatens groundwater supplies.

"The seeps and springs

they'll all be impacted along this rim by development and taking any water

ground water out of the aquifers below here.

This is an unnecessary development

that's really promoted by a few wealthy developers who want to have Grand Canyon

in their portfolio and they want to be the ones that yeah we own part of the

Grand Canyon and I think it's our place."

The fight against the Escalade proposal isn't over.

Developers could resurrect parts of the plan and negotiate a new deal for development

in the Grand Canyon

"We need to keep working. There's still people, there's still developers wanting

to come in to take advantage of that area.

It's become more than just a family

everybody on the Navajo Nation, the other grassroots groups

that revere the water, that want to stop fracking, that want to stop uranium mining,

uranium transportation.

That's our whole family now.

The petition signers all over the world,

I just wanna express our humble thank you, Ahéhee'.

Stick with us.

We still need all the support in order to protect and preserve it

for everybody."

What Is The Law Of Polarity And How To Make A Good Use Of It - Duration: 4:01.

The Universal Laws are intensely connected with our day to day lives.

They manifest their importance on every aspect of human living.

So, it is important that we recognize and use these laws.

It would certainly help us understand our interconnections with this universe, to be

one with the Universe.

Now, what is the Law of Polarity?

It states, every little thing that exists in this world, must have an equal and opposite

aspect.

These opposites are similar, but have different degrees.

Man is also an example of this law.

Some aspects of our nature become dominant at some point, while the other ones rise up

at special events.

Like, if a person is always happy, he wouldn't understand the true feeling of happiness unless

he feels sadness at some points.

Polarity exhibits a wide range of combinations.

These polarities that exist within us are manifested in the form of a range of combinations.

The polarities would never remain in a pure state.

They would combine with each other to produce a unique blend.

In the world around us, the aspect of duality is found in the atomic structure of electrons

and protons, in magnetic fields having negative and positive poles, in the happenings of day

and night and humans as masculine and feminine.

We notice, that in all of these cases, the thing and its opposite are both important

to maintain balance and harmony in nature.

The Duality, Divisions and Connections.

We all know about the Yin and Yang, the manifestation of opposites.

Suppose the Yin being sun, male and darkness, the Yang would respectively be moon, female

and light.

The dichotomy between them presents the duality.

Of course, this duality is present in us.

We carry such characteristics around as humans, as a representation of the Universe.

That being said, cold and heat, darkness and light, man and woman are all complementary

to each other.

None of them are complete without the other.

Thus, everything needs to be connected.

Let's now look at a few examples.

Analysis and Creativity.

When you do something creative, we analyze the information and then think creatively.

In Tarot, the reader studies the symbols on the cards and uses his creative mind to find

the results.

Thus, analysis and creativity are polar opposites which reside hand in hand.

Physical and Mental.

Let's think about a sportsperson.

He is constantly working hard physically for his sport.

At the same time, he needs his own mental support and will power to continue working

hard.

So, if he has a mental disturbance, his performance would falter.

Similarly, a person who is giving full concentration to academics, needs some exercise to renew

energy.

Left and Right Brain.

Some people have a dominant left brain showing a more creative side, while others have a

dominant right brain, hence showing a more logical side.

There are few others who even use both hemispheres equally.

Thus, when one hemisphere is active, the other is still used but it's less prominent.

The Law of Polarity helps us to realize the true sense of judgment.

We need to understand that everything exists with the help and completeness of its opposite.

The world has a bit of light as well as darkness, an amount of sadness as well as joy.

It is important to become aware that the universe exists in each one of us.

We must embrace the polarities existing in this world of our own.

#YRDSBAskLouise - What is your proudest accomplishment? - Duration: 1:01.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

I have two children – a boy and a girl – and they're both in university.

So raising them has been one of my proudest accomplishments.

I think becoming your Director of Education, from a personal career perspective is really

exciting for me.

And then when I think back to when I was a teacher, every time that I worked with a grade

one or a grade two student, and helped them learn how to read, I can close my eyes and

remember the students that I worked with and seeing the first time that student figures

out how to decode and read a piece of writing and see their pride, I'll never forget those

days.

What Is Most Important? - Two Minute Message - Duration: 2:15.

- Hey everybody, Daniel Fusco here.

Welcome to today's two minute message.

Now we all know that there's all sorts of things

that are important, you know?

And depending on if we really think about it,

it's often times things that we think are important.

They are really important.

Like things like eating like you have to eat.

If you don't eat for long enough, you die unfortunately.

There's things that are important.

But what's amazing is is often times we elevate things

that aren't really that important to being important.

Like you know, I remember what it was like

before the On Demand Media.

I remember if we wanted to watch a TV show,

we either wouldn't go out so we can watch it or you know,

you would miss it.

This is long before we had like a VCR that you could program

if you know those things are.

You know to make sure that you taped the thing.

And so but for many of us if I miss my favorite TV show,

it's like a big problem.

So but you have to remember what is really important.

Now, the necessities of life, things like food and things

like this, Jesus says something really amazing

because he actually encourages us to choose to not eat

sometimes because there's something even more important

than the things that are necessary.

The Bible calls this fasting.

The idea is that you need food to survive,

but you actually need something more

than you even need food, and that is God.

And really fasting in this culture is self-denial

in a world full of self-gratification.

Fasting is us saying I'm gonna not do what I need to do

because I need something even more.

And God wants us to always realize that he is more important

than everything.

And we need to learn the art of not doing certain things

that are necessary so that we can focus

on the even more important things.

'Cause every time you say no to one thing or yes

to something, you say no to something else.

Every time you say yes to something,

you say no to something else.

And there are in our lives in order to deepen

our relationship with God, sometimes we say no to important,

essential things because God is even more important.

So this is what I want you to do.

First, I want you to share this message.

Because God is inviting each one of us

into a deeper relationship.

And in the comments section, will you share some

of the things that you do to deepen your relationship

with God?

Talk about what fasting is for you when you choose not

to eat maybe a meal or for a day,

or you turn off your favorite TV program.

And you devote that time to Bible reading and prayer

and fellowship with God.

I want to hear those things so that we can learn

and be encouraged and challenged by one another

as we're on this journey of faith together.

God bless you guys.
